I live in france and have started wearing the hijab a few months ago. It came with SO many challenges (lost my job, my friends and some family members) and it has revealed to me that most of the « good muslim people » in my life that i was looking up to are SUCH hypocrites. The HATED seeing me trying to get closer to Allah and would constantly tell me that either : I should not wear the hijab because to them it’s not fard or to take it off because i was not wearing it right.
It also revealed to me that the BIGGEST hijabi hatters are muslim men.
They do everything they can to invalidate the immense sacrifice that wearing the hijab is (especially in the west) and fun fact the kindest people to me have been my christian and atheist friends who supported me throughout my journey.

Oh my God that's heartbreaking. You must know that it's envy though. Real envy and jealousy that's making other Muslims hostile. They know you're doing the right thing, surpassing them by every metric, and so they lash out in these ugly ways. Stay strong, you're on the right path and Allah is by you and will reward you for the slightest perseverance you exercise. Stay strong, beautiful. To Allah we belong and shall return. ❤

I’m a guy but this video was real helpful for me as well. I understand how difficult it is to wear hijab I’ve seen it first hand and it’s great to hear how you overcame that challenge. Especially as someone who’s had low iman for so long this video was comforting.

I started wearing the hijab Ramadan 2023 and I did it for Allah swt but an added bonus is the protection from the gaze of men. I always struggled with men looking and gawking and being disrespected to the point where if I saw a group of men (or even just 1 man) I would turn around bc ew and the hijab just shuts that all the way downnnnn lol I loved watching your video it made me feel less alone! Keep going with your videos 🫶🏼

I am so inspired by your videos. You are a very wise woman. As a devout Christian I have to say that I am fascinated by Islam. Sometimes when I see my coworker praying in the middle of the day, making time for our God, I wish I could pray with them. Thank you for bringing so much wisdom and knowledge to us. I am not a person that participates in social media a lot, but I am learning from you. Thank you. May Allah blessyou.

alhamdulillah, I love this video. I am a new hijab (revert) and questioning not covering daily. I can wear a head wrap but it gets hot when I am fully covered. I then have to think back to that feeling in my heart during Ramadan 2024 wear my heart was filled with joy when my TikTok was flooded with Ramadan videos and hijabs. I say Allah led me to Islam and I do this for Allah. But you inspired me to keep going and keep it on no matter what.

I’m glad that i see watched the video instead of just listening to your brief explanation as to why on TikTok. Not only did I learn about your own personal journey, i also was able relate to some of the things you said it was an eye opener. Thank you -asap😊

This was a great video❤ I think it's so important to really appreciate the benefits of hijab beyond just the physical aspects. It's not just about covering ourselves, its also how we carry ourselves in terms of our values and actions which I find beautiful. And men have hijab too! I personally find hijab to be a source of confidence and comfort the more I wear it alhamdulilah and I wish everyone the same and more.

Your euphemism about wearing the hijab and college fits the situation I am in right now perfectly. 😂 I am struggling with the hijab whilst struggling (while watching this video to keep me awake at 3am) to finish my dissertation.

Girls, I need some advice, please😭
So I am 13 (ik I am young), but I want to wear the hijab so bad, and I feel like I am ready. I was born into a non practicant muslim family, like they never thought me how to pray but they would celebrate eid. I started learning Islam on my own since I was 11 and now I really want to wear a hijab. The main reason I don't do it is because I am scared of the judgment of my family and other Muslims and non Muslims
