Great tutorial. I do have a question, when I run this command on some of my data I get everything just as you've showed except an a t value or LSD. I have a 1 at the end of the code to run a LSD test but don't get an LSD in the results. Any suggestions?

For this you need to code manually. Retrieve the function by using getAnywhere(function_name) this will give you the code. Than you can customize for yourself!

Yes I too have the same doubt We have to compare using two different CD values We can't use simple FRBD type interaction comparison I tried even in package multcomp and emmeans but couldn't get that how to get two different CD values As we get in OPSTAT or STAR software

One should use split plot design when the levels of one factor are difficult to change in comparison to levels of another factor. For example, we have two factors tilliage & nitrogen application in wheat field. Now to have different depth of tillage in small plot is very tough so we use tilllage as a main plot factor. For nitrogen application we can easily apply different levels of nitrogen in plots. Also split plot will require specific layout in field. For more information you can Google Split plot analysis by IASRI. Regards RAAJ

Hi The interaction means are compared like factorial designs and EMS is used of sub plot ie E(b)
You can explore codes of any function by using getAnywhere() function
