    So slick, such moves. Really suave looking build man. The Boi cannot be held down by any five negative modifiers! Especially liked the inclusion of Slide Attack.

    dude i was talking with my friend last night about running a special build on aladdin with the new balor's eye and turning the blades into a black hole of death. now i get to watch this?!? i peeked at the end to see if you got it haha... stoked to watch how it develops

      The build still performed decent but if you turn off the corruption modifers this actually has some potential

    Wow, those fairy dusts really put in the work here. They practically tank the first hit you take when moving from camp to camp.

      @@Jacob-x1d Yeah fairy dust is super underrated, especially in a run like this where you can only take 2-3 hits, negating one of those is so resourceful

    Started playing the game not too long ago with friends. They started earlier than me and deemed Aladdin hard to play, which triggered "I want a challenge" in me. Watched a few of your videos, got inspired, and wanted to try him even more. He clicked for me in solo play, love him as a character. I know he is really snowbally and is one of the characters that can really easily break the game, but in coop, and especially at few first levels, when I play him, I feel like a dead weight, rather than actual character...
    My strategy (as of late) involves trying to fish for Master Thief (maybe too hard) at level two, and even more so if there is the Legendary trait upgrade in the shop. Because of that I do not pick up any chests or use money at the wells.
    How I play:
    - Check shop, if there is Legendary trait upgrade - my try to go for Master Thief "mode" activates.
    - If not, still likely to do it.
    - Check talents, take a rare one between Jinn quest or +1 trait. If none are rare, take the Jinn.
    - Use trait until have one charge. Take as many reroll shards as possible.
    - Wait with items to level 2, roll until two roll shards left if did not get Master Thief. Take a talent that might be usefull. Do not take any items from chests and try to stockpile gold. If got Master Thief but not have enought gold to level up first talent (if not rare) and get the Legendary, at level 3, postpone from taking a talent until enough gold is gathered. After that upgrade traits and pick one from level 3.
    - At level 3, if without Master Thief try for it hard, using the rest of the shards. After that, run around trying to get everything I left. If got rerolls still try for Coins/ Eggs/ Dash charge/ Dash cooldown (my prefered playstyle is auto attack enhancer traits). Roses are mid- late game.
    Playing this way is kinda exciting for me, waiting for the mid- late game, but early is painfull, especially since I feel really, really weak and kinda bad, that I need to revisit all the places later, taking my time, when other players explore/ fight in other places (I would like to contribute more).
    How much do you value Master Thief? How hard do you go for it? What changes in playstyle would you suggest?
    I'm gratefull for any tips/ corrections.

      @@Arkhnerub If you want super optimal runs every time then would probably continue with how your playing, it’s fun to have master thief pop off but I don’t find it super necessary in most runs unless your pushing the difficulty with modifiers. I’d say focusing on Jinniya’s gift and sand of oblivion at level 4 or level 8 in chapter 2 is something that I do pretty frequently regardless of what build I’m going for. And I’d say leaping strikes, dive, or swordjinn are the big 3 talents you choose to build around for Aladdin, every build will probably want 1 of the 3 as the main part of the build

    love the vids, in future streams/videos could we pop the face cam up into the right corner so we can see the new crit/vitality layout next to the character level?

    So given you're the pro and Aladdin is my fave to play, I was hoping to get your input on a couple of Qs:
    1) Your thoughts on taking "economy" talents early for max benefit? So Jinniya's Gift and Master Thief are great talents, and I guess leveling them to legendary early on would theoretically give max benefit, but this comes at the opportunity cost of awesome clearing like Aerial Catch or Dive. Do you feel like the trade-off is worth it? What's your strategy if you do get Master Thief early? Level to Legendary asap or wait until Chapter 2?
    2) Do some of your talent choices depend on whether you're playing co-op? For example since enemies are stronger, do you prioritize great clear talents like Aerial Catch over Master Thief for the extra damage you'll need in co-op?
    3) Some of us newbies still have a hard time determining when to spend cystals on talents upgrades vs items. Any tips here?

      @@TheProtesilaus I really like taking Jinniya’s gift, even through the late game, master thief level 2 if you can get is is amazing and should be focused to legendary right away, I avoid taking chests when trying to play as optimal as possible for master thief. I mainly take healing and shield talents more in co-op but some are beneficial in solo, and other characters are a bit better for healing, normally not Aladdin.
      And talents vs magical objects, the way I look at is that I’ll be able to do talent upgrades in any chapter but the wishing well or sandman shop is a one time thing in that chapter so I like to prioritize magical objects. Some talents like master thief take priority or something that can drastically help clears like sand of enlightenment on leaping strikes.       @@positive4ce Thank you so much, that really does. Great reasoning. Do you mean you avoid chests at all to try to focus just several items for MT to proc on them or leave them cleared to collect after you get MT to legendary? Awesome other video too.

      @ I still like to try and clear them to check the chest and see if I’m going to want to reroll it to know if I take rerolls out of grimoires. But this is mainly in reference to greens and yellows as the chance for master thief to proc on an epic is so low that I’m fine with missing out on a proc there. And that’s why master thief level 2 is so strong, you don’t have to wait and can instantly start stacking coins, ogre blood, green armor, or eternal rose

    I've just remembered now how I have tried the same idea to make his special work. I had every talent except for attack and might: tornado, dive, both talents for his special and some more. Finally came to last chapter and wondered that special dealt too little damage with about 400 or 500% dmg. Then I've tried just to attack enemies with enchantment points - there were more damage with no boosts except general damage, than with everything boosting special.
    I was very upset

    This was a great run but what did you take that gave the lightning strikes? Aladdin doesnt have that naturally does he?

      When you get 3 special charges it adds lightning to your special on any character, really strong as lightning goes through armor

    I think the first and second bosses should be swapped. The tendrils are much Tankier than the eyes and you have to micromanage much of the fight.

      I've seen that opinion a few times, I disagree mainly because of co-op. The first boss doesn't really change in co-op, second boss gets more eye lasers, shoots out more bombs, and has more eyes spawn but I get what you're saying

    I'm not sure if you recognize this math, so I'll just leave it here. It's not too useful to think about armor as "400 armor 80% damage resistance"
    1 armor is 1% effective HP. If you have 1000 HP and 50 armor, that's the same as having 1500 HP. If you had 400 armor, that would have been 5000 effective HP.
    Maybe just a more useful way to think about armor numbers.

      @@gospex I have heard that before it’s cool to know it becomes kinda a seesaw for what you should take but in there runs I mainly just focus armor for me heals as each % healed from an orb is more hits I can take based off that orb, in regular nightmare without disease and no fountains I try to go back and forth a lot more
