"Amok" from Sentenced, "Tales..." from Amorphis, "Clouds" from Tiamat... In these days, there was magic in the air. And all these bands were still kids then, mostly teenagers! There must have been something in the water.

Introduced by Homer in Iliad,it was a potion given to Helen of Greece by a witch,to forget the slaughter of her beloved,Paris of Troy, by Achilleus.
A potion to forget a death,a love,any sorrow of life.
But to forget the pain of losing that one true love,one must also forget who he is,his past,his dreams...
I wish a potion like that existed,i'd drink a whole barrel of it...

A complex song, where you can also find acoustic guitar parts, guitar solo and detailed melodic riffs. A well structured song structure, complex but not complicated. Few bands can do that. That's it.

Remember premiere of this video on Headbanger's Ball in 1995, or maybe little bit earlier...I always had empty video tape ready for clips to be recorded...So and this was during the premiere...Still love it!

Drink to forget... That´s what got me in to the greatest metal band ever. They grew with each album but the ca!!!! Remember a night in 1995 in Dortmund when a real skinny guy ordered some beers at a venue in Dortmund next to me after their gig at the Out of the Dark Festival! It was Miika! So sad what life made out of him. Fortunately Ville is still on track! Support Poisonblack and meet them at the halfway bar...
Masterpiece...RIP Mike Tenkula......Already 15 years....well missed you bro......
