You’re right the dialect used a lot of Spanish. I was able to understand it in my maiden language that is Spanish. Great video that brings memories when my uncle had a goat dairy farm.
It sounds like Portuguese... and the term chavacan it is also used in Spanish. I think that it means something like boastful or vulgar.

because of your animals you are actually completely self-sufficient. every morning you have an egg for breakfast, for lunch you either have a chicken, a catfish or roast goat. and home-made salad for dinner ... :o)

Goat Farming is no easy endeavor. It needs Planning: Objectives either Milk or Meat or both, Forage Development, Finance, Breeder and stock selection, Proper Housing, Staffing, Herd management, Recording, and some contingency plans.

This is very nice lesson. However I may advise that in crossbreeding, ts better to use local male on big gots as doing vs/vs the local goats cant deliver those big goats.

Anglo Nubian breed are known for their milk production while a Boer breed are known for their meat production since Boer are fast growing and bigger.

I love how healthy all of the animals in your videos are, and that you and your friends have enough room for many more, but choose to keep them at a smaller population so they have plenty of room. I'd like to know more about how to make your own feed for the quails and ducks instead of buying the different types of feed, to save money and also just to know exactly what they're eating. I'm sure you know that ostrich are incredibly dangerous. Personally I'd start with emu. I don't know a single vet in my area that works with ostrich because several have almost died from working with them. There used to be an industry here but it stopped, mostly because the market wasn't strong and the expenses are so high. I'm sure it's different where you are, but please be very careful. They can rip you wide open in a split second. Thanks for the great videos of animals that are very healthy and happy looking. It's nothing like the mass production farms here in america that make you sick to see the poor animals. I'll bet the eggs are more nutritious and taste better too!

I understand that you are trying to work with the poorest quality goats which is unfortunate. However proper feeding and proper deworming will help to improve their production considerably! It is not unusual for nubians to produce three and four kids per breeding if they are fed properly. Better nutrition = better production. I would suggest you keep your herd small enough so that you can provide the best nutrition possible along with proper deworming techniques. Thusly you will be producing higher meat yields. Higher milk yields and milk quality. Higher kid yields and survivability. Free choice grasses and brush along with a supplementation of pelleted feed will greatly increase your yields. If you keep your herd small yet in absolute top condition you will be producing much higher quality animals by your first kidding! If you would like advise from a very seasoned goat keeper i would be willing to help you in any way i can. Good luck!

Looking forward to your herd growing Dexter as fast as your channel I hope! Something we do to help with hooves in the USA is to give them something to climb on on a little bit of it put some rough grit sandpaper face up it's really helped with that chore for sure . P.S . They are great climbers and REALLY smart .
