My daughter is a American and going to college in Lincoln she just finished her first year she loves it there she doesn’t have a car or bike so she walks everywhere
Just got an unconditional offer to study law at Lincoln starting in 2023! So naturally looking at all the videos and things in it to get excited- I love the university sm from open days and the city has always felt like home since the first time I visited whe; I was 7! Honestly It just seems perfect for me
Your videos on Lincoln and the uni help so much! I accepted my unconditional to study psychology at Lincoln in September and it's so nice to hear other opinions on the uni and the city because it makes me more excited haha. It's so nice to see that you're enjoying it and doing so well (well done on your first last semester!). Thanks for the info about Lincoln! x
OMG YAY! I'm so happy that my videos can help future students out :) Wow, it's amazing how you've got an unconditional ! Thank you for watching and supporting my videos. Always here if you need any advice or have any worries xxxx
Tbh in Lincoln it's a hit and miss as it's either you see lot's of drunk people good views from the castle good food and drinks and some ok movie places like odean and only man
Love watching your videos. My son hopes to go to Lincoln next year and is just about to apply. Have you made a video about halls and which ones you would recommend? We only managed to see a couple of them during our open day visit!
Thank you so much Vicki! That's amazing, I really hope that he does because it's such an incredible university. I've done videos all about accommodation before but not specific ones as I only had the full experience of my own. I absolutely loved living in Courts, one of the cheapest on site ones; it was so close to the campus, the security and services were amazing and the kitchens were spacious. Which ones have you visited?
Hey, what is it about the water? I have accepted my unconditional letter and i just saw your video and i have extremely sensitive skin to a point where it can bleed really bad if the water is too hard. Your help shall be really appreciated
Hi, I like your video. Would you recommend Lincoln for an expat family to move from London? Are locals friendly with expats too? How about primary schools? Many thanks
Hope you can figure out what you want! I love both Lincoln and Portsmouth, my boyfriend's brother goes there and loves it! I just love Lincoln so much so I'm biased haha :)
Little bit of trivia about Lincoln.. Lincoln is made up of two Words... Lindum Colonia.. Lindum name given by the Romans that came from a word meaning the pool ( Brayford pool ) and Colonia as we were a Roman colony..
Is there any free bus service or transport service for students?! Since certain universities have free transportation on certain buses to help them get around the city/to campus :)
You don't really need public transport because everything is walking distance! But there are regular buses around the town if you live a bit further out :)
Exact same as us!! I think it was cos they hyped up freshers and it was SO shit haha! OMG I defo will vlog when we go, hopefully we will plan to go before Easter! It looks so fun xx
Amazing, congrats! I really love Lincoln and living here is great. I'm defo ready to explore another city now to find my actual career but it's definitely a wonderful place to live and I hope to come back in the future :)
I've spoken about in other videos that if you don't drink then there are pub quiz nights & other activities like pool and rock n roll bingo available to do in the evenings. Most of the freshers events and other events not involving alcohol is usually held in the day rather than the evening :)
International students are really welcomed at the university, you will make lots of people in a similar situation to yourself and hopefully you'll love it just as much as I do :)
Hey great video ! I live in west London and may be coming lincoln. Is It multi cultural ? I’m Black and I feel like lincoln isn’t diverse as much as London so anxious about that.
It's really easy to make friends because of the atmosphere, everyone is super friendly...especially in the first few months! There are so many opportunities to meet new people so I promise you will find friends xxx
Is Lincoln very diverse ? Or is it mainly white? Also what’s all this about lots of druggies? Lincoln to me looks comparable to Norwich... I could be wrong.
It isn't ranked low at all, we are in the top fifty out of over 100 universities in the UK! The student happiness rating is really high and one of the best too. It doesn't matter the ranking unless you need a prestigious uni to get the job you want :) hope that helps xx
My university accommodation was amazing in 1st year, I'd highly recommend it :) One of the more affordable options and had everything you needed to live comfortably!
Lincoln nightlife is the definition of shit😂 I live in Newark and used to go out there a lot, never had a good night unless I had a massive group of people
