I took my fifth trip to Salem over the past 50 years in October 2022. I find Salem to feel calming and actually like going home. I wish I could go there every month.

When I was a teenager here in Salem.. we would say party at Nathaniels tonight! We would totally go into the cemetery, sit on the vault and cheers them all. Very inappropriate as an adult! I'm surprised we never got caught! But back then it wasn't so big here with visitors. Salem was a very different little town! 😊

Salem is heven for historian like me :D .I really have to visit Salem someday ,but that will be hard now because i'm from Poland and Covid is everywhere around :/
Best place evah! The week of Halloween! the only place to be is Salem,Ma founded in 1626 very gothic like a Tim Burton movie set spooky with old creepy beautiful homes. A Halloween mardi gras. Weather should be chilly and it adds to the atmosphere if your lucky the m00n will be full and brite!

Finally a you tube guide who knows his history regarding Salem. It ain’t all fake witches and souvenirs. I was born in Salem and am offended by these fools who give people ideas where to get the best drinks etc.

I still feel sorry for Corey Giles... He was an innocent old man and they got sick of him...
They were all innocent, many of them old. I feel like Giles was one of the least innocent considering he murdered a guy and is the reason why his wife was hanged as a witch when he told magistrates she read strange books and he thought she was a witch. He didn't deserve to die at all, but they were all innocents caught in hysteria
