    How Rohail Hyatt did combine Chakwal quartet raw and natural voices along with Meesha´s voice in a whole so consistent I don´t sincerely know.
    I just love it!
    I just love Meesha.

    For the benefit of my Indian Punjab listeners , Chakwal is in northern Punjab ( potohar region) and around 90km from Islamabad and 280km from Lahore. Hence their Punjabi language is different from central Punjab and Lahore. you may find some words unfamiliar ..moving upwards Punjabi dialects changes.

    • @s.saleem9936
      @s.saleem9936 Год назад +11

      Not exactly the potohar region. Half of it is called Dhani. The dialect is closer to Saraiki than Punjabi or potohari

      +adi ansari what do you mean ?
      their is a state named punjab in India and a province named punjab in Pakistan.
      Punjab is a historical land of Jutt (like me), rajpoots, Gujar, arians, and other castes.
      and is composed of land between five rivers, and hence the name Punj-ab
      many different accents are spoken across Punjab, like the accent used is chakwali.
      but the standard punjabi accent is Majhi spoken across india and Pakistan, around Amritsar, Lahore, Sialkot, Nankana, sahiwal areas.

    Splendid..Marvelous... The talent has no language, no religion , no caste , no nationality, doesn't know any borders ....only thing it knows is winning admirers, winning heats, spreading love, inner peace . No doubt each country's culture , folk music is unique in its own. I love the core identity that the folk music and culture carries & showcase it to the world. Indian and Pakistani music , culture are too rich. There is so much depth and great things to feel about. These two nations has lot to give to this world and already doing so in many areas. There is a whole lot of great talents in shadows. Sometimes Our local talents go unsung, but they do not need to get commercialized all they need is recognized so that it can be brought forward to outer world.

    Very Good attempt. Keep the heritage of both sides of Pb alive. Coke Studio ( Pak ) has made excellent efforts towards this end in the last few years.Encourage talent like that of Chakwal Group. Must not allow the same to get drowned by the trash being churned out in the name of folk now-a-days. Wadali Brothers ( India) is another example of near similar talent.
