Rescue Harlequin Challenge - Day 1 Full video

VW Golf Harlequin #134 of 264 made, ended up in a California junkyard. After 2 months of being stripped, and with all fluids forcibly removed from the car, I managed to purchase it, and formulate a plan to fly to California, fix it, and drive it home within a 5 day window. This is day 1 of 5.
Huge thank you to everyone who came to help and hang out today. Today couldn't have happened the way it did without them. Thanks also to Oskar from Das Parts in Ontario. Canada for donating the new battery the car needed. Martin for collecting me at the airport, and being super awesome. Tony, Mark, and so people people for turning so many wrenches, and to absolutely everyone else who helped, hung out, and anything else. And Pick N Pull, Robb, and their employees in Newark, California. There are way too many awesome people to list here, and that's pretty amazing. And special thanks to everyone who brought parts INTO the junkyard for the car - parts that the junkyard didn't have such as a fuel tank and wheels. This was such a huge and heartwarming day, wonderfully immersed in our watercooled VW scene.
