Saying a person is the best singer in the world is a very big claim. But listening to Dimash, he's got the talent to really earn that spot at the top. Insane amount of talent, well beyond any talent show I've ever watched. They can be really good, but this guy is otherworldly.
Yeah it took me about 3 videos and then I really thought what people were saying was true. Skill and technique and overall talent and entertainment he probably was the best singer in the world right now.

Great reaction. I'm 52 and also have a musical background (trumpet). Dimash is certainly a generational talent. Even hearing his songs over and over I'm still blown away. At the end when he comes in super high and ever so softly with vibrato and holds it, then changes it to a straight tone and then adds a little vibrato to finish it off. That straight tone is one of the purest notes I've ever heard and so angelic. Imagine being in that audience hearing that in person. We are so blessed to be able to have the chance to hear Dimash in person in our lifetime. This is the voice (other than family) that I want to hear on my deathbed when I take my last breath. Can't wait for your next Dimash reaction!!!

Let’s talk about his last long note. Insane and difficult for many pro female opera singer. He does that note on C6 with softness , which is harder to do than the louder C6 note. The control to have to hold it soft yet in tune and spinning like a spider web, yes hold it and do crescendo then decrescendo and fade it in the air.
That last long note alone is the money note for many pro opera female singers right there, not even mention his breath control and technique throughout the song!

I agree completely. I would also add that the most mind blowing and difficult thing he did was the vocal onset at C6 right on pitch at the beginning of the last part.

That moment when he starts the onset, the control to get it on right pitch and tone yet soft and spinning… holding note control volume and add vibrato to it is the complex long note that challenges many pro female opera singers. Then he slays rock, pop, folk songs as well and can rap! Jack of all trades, master them all!

I saw this video a hundred times before I watched him sing this song live on stage just a few steps away and still my brain failed to process what my eyes saw, my ears heard, what even MY SKIN sensed, Dimash's voice is a miracle - and it is without any doubt the most beautiful sound a human being ever produced. Yes, he IS the best singer on earth. And he is able to lift your brain, your heart and even your soul to another level.

Bob, one thing that moves me deeply in this song is his gentle vulnerability--a sweet and tender, really angelic "letting go" of any defensiveness and opening up to the music, letting it take him, and not concerning himself with ego or with impressing his audience. It is very touching to me, that he doesn't have to put up any defense. He gives it all up, and the music is the better for his letting go.

No, it’s not your “old standard classic version,” and there’s a reason for that…. The Composer is Igor Krutoy, a Jewish Man. The Artist is a Muslim. As a Jewish person myself, I understand this vocalise so well-I could never say, utter, sing ‘Hail Mary.’ Though he sang just that in Love is Like a Dream, time has passed and he has matured and grown, I think. He also composed some other songs just for him. Olimpico, Stranger, Your love, I miss you, Passione. I believe "Know" was also composed by him. They are all extraordinary songs and performances. Dimash is out of this world, really exceptional. After hearing one son by him I feel like I watched a very good movie. I mean he makes me feel so many emotions with just one song. You've already noticed that everything about Dimash and the musicians around him is perfect---and yet you haven't even gotten to "Olimpico," "Love of Tired Swans," "Love Is Like a Dream," "Your Love," "Across Endless Dimensions," "Stranger," (!!!), and all the amazing Kazakh folk songs he has performed. I suspect I've been on this Earth nearly twice as long as you have, Bob, and I can promise you that you aren't going astray when you say you are inclined to call Dimash the best singer in the world. I've been deep into music for my entire life and I've never heard anyone better.

I've been sampling all that music obsessively for most of my nearly 80 years and finally came to the conclusion that all of my favorites mean a whole lot less to me than they used to once I got deep into Dimash's catalog. If nothing else, I hope you will make time to witness "Olimpico," and "Stranger."

He composed this song at Dimash's request... and he has composed others for Dimash's vocal range, like Ogni Pietra and Stranger, both are epic... I suggest you listen to Ogni Pietra also known as Olimpico first, and then Stranger. I have to warn you, however, that with these two songs it is possible that your brain is blocked... Dimash is so unique, he needs his own Ave Maria too. The man at the piano is Igor Kutoy. A very famous Russian composer and singer who came out of retirement especially for Dimash to compose for Dimash. Dimash called him and said he would like his own version of Ave Maria and Igor went ahead and created this masterpiece.
Whenever these two masters work together, particularly valuable and great pieces of music are created.
And yes, everyone who works with Dimash has their own great quality. It's always a great overall concept.
I love the incredulous look on their faces when Dimash is particularly good. I'm almost too used to him, yet I enjoy every single note he sings.

There are 8 known versions of the Ave Maria. Dimash has just added the 9th version. It is a forecast of respect, reverence, dignity, grace and love. I feel so blessed hearing this man in my lifetime. Been a long time fan of the operatic voices, the rock legends, even death metal, but what separates this young man from the others is that he can BREATHE and support his voice correctly. Technically speaking none of the R&B singers respect breathing, often breaking their runs to gasp for another breath, whereas here you find the perfect breathing, legato and continuation of the next phrase, hopping from one transition to the next without a break in the breathing. We could do a masterclass just on his breathing for young singers to learn what is correct. I value this above all in singers. His voice is like liquid gold, just pouring out. One of your contemporary vocal coaches actually tries to copy what he does and thinks that he comes close - not, nobody comes close to Dimash.

In the video of Sinful Passion, at the end you see a guy in white shirt stand up in the audience - it´s the same guy who accompanies Dimash in this video: Igor Krutoy, famous composer, who, after seeing Dimash sing Sinful Passion, came out of retirement to compose for him also this version of Ave Maria among other songs.
One last thing: a Jewish composer adjusted Christian song for a Muslim singer to sing. Just wow.

Hello dear. This "Ave Maria" is a fragment of the opera by Russian musician and composer Vladimir Vavilov that Ygor Krutoy delegated and arranged at Dimash's request especially for his voice. In the performance Dimash appears with a pair of wings representing the Angel Gabriel when he comes to announce to "young Mary" the birth of our "Lord Jesus the Christ". You must react to whom many refer to as the female Dimash or South Korea Maria Carey. She is from South Korea and her name is So Hyang. Her version of Bridge over troubled water is over the top and her vocal range in this song has never ever been in this song by anyone before. It is mind blowing and heart touching as her emotions are on full display.
Forstella is another group of 4 males from South Korean. They are a crossover group and are not K-pop. They are spectacular as their voices and harmony are beautiful. Igor is a composer, very famous in Russia. He has written many songs and Dimash has sung many of them. He has also written several for Dimash, Olympico, this one, Stranger, I can't even think of them all. Igor didn't come out of retirement to write for Dimash, he has never been retired. Not sure where that came from. He is a multi-millionaire and had an incredible career way before he met Dimash. Many of the songs he has written were sung by Lara Fabian who has been an idol for Dimash since he was young and he actually gets to sing with her in a birthday concert for Igor. Ti Amo Cosi is the song. Another opera singer sings with them as well.
The pianist is also the composer, famous Russian multi-billionaire, Igor Krutoy, who has created and or worked with many famous stars over the years who also performed in his high quality concerts. He had semi-retired at 65 as Russians do, and thought his heyday working with extremely talented people who could perform his dream works was ending, until his mother rang him and told of seeing Dimash online, I think, in the I Am Singer Chinese competition for advanced and already famous singers. She was suitably impressed and suggested he go and watch Dimash, which he did at the 2018 Sochi New Wave Concert. That is him in the white shirt front row applauding Dimash after he sang Sinful Passion.
From there it is all beautiful history, as they liked each other and agreed to perform together when possible.
Igor also wrote music for Lara Fabian Canadian Belgium singer, who was Dimash’s idol growing up. If you watch her sing, you will see where Dimash got his beautiful emotive and semi operatic pop styles from. Dimash’s culture, as beautiful and expressive as it is, does not show what Lara does. Dimash seems to have embraced her features into his.
All these people are soooo beautiful in character and performance, that it is startling and eye opening for westerners after some of the garbage that we have been brought up on.
Dimash has a destiny that his grandmother predicted before he was born. His last name Qudaibergen (in Kazakh) means Given By God, and you can see evidence of that in every aspect of his life from his humility, talent, skills, family, national and public and onstage life, the way he acts on concert tours and travels, on fanvids, he broadcasts love to his audience onstage, and he has been awarded as a National Treasure by his government.
Dimash is using his frequencies, skills, and the addictive performances, etc., to repair the mess that Hollywood created and spread around the world with the basic change in frequency and morals and satanic worship that they are all involved in, and which is currently being dealt with.
So God’s timing is perfect as you would expect, and Dimash was prepared and ready in 2017 for the necessity of renewed music entering the world scene just as the covid scam was used to wreak havoc on the world. That also is in it’s last days now. However the cleanup of the damage we all allowed it to cause will last until everyone injected either is healed in medbeds or dead from the bio-weapon injections.
The general frequencies of earth, it’s people, and our part of the universe are in the process of being raised up into a fifth dimension for those who are ready, with the hard nosed 3rd dimensional people possibly being left behind to learn their lessons.
So Dimash is providing relief, refreshment and healing with his beautiful tones and skills. Some clinics use his songs to heal depression, and some Dears/fans claim degrees of healing from frequently listening to his music.
So there you have it….Igor is also super talented and seems to have been placed in position for this timeframe in the creation of …..well we will see how great, how far, how long, and how even more beautiful this can become… with God’s planning.
