I saw Grizzy play this chapter and thought Oh wow this chapter is very buggy I THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY WITH HIM I DID NOT KNOW EVERYONE SUFFERED THOSE SAME PROBLEMS
The positive reviews have to be memes or bots, aint no way Got the same exact bugs as you...Every. Single. One...These are repeatable/recreatable bugs that just happen while playing it normally. I even reloaded multiple times and never got yarnaby to spawn in and every light source went superbloom standing around them for 2 seconds For Context: I reloaded 12 times to try to get yarnaby to spawn, spawnkilled 6 times by doey...I replayed today and the same stuff happened again. I'm fine with bugs but these are things that would get caught in 2 seconds just making sure the sections function. It can be patched but it's crazy I did have fun in spite of that stuff but I fully expect the final chapter to be a trainwreck

I would think if that game made you scared as a horror game that makes it pretty good. But this game had way too many issues.

FINALLY someone who says it. Every chapter had always had increased in quality and upgraded from the last one, all but Chapter 4. The chase scenes lasted 2 seconds, there were literally zero new mechanics added, every new character was under-utilized and overhyped, every boss fight was underwhelming and im not even gonna mention the bugs. It seems like the people that left the team were the ones carrying the team. I would've actually waited 2 more years if it meant for a polished game with good gameplay. The devs really need to start doing something because it's just gonna keep going downhill from here.

Saw Jacks video first, his experience didn't seem nearly to this extent. He seemed to get away thinking it was pretty good. And the story, art, animations are great. Lore was good not great but not bad. Kind of seems like just from the intro the Kruz here found every bug lol Which you could be like "Damn Kruz, you're freakin unlucky" but for the game devs, this is down right embarrassing.
I've had multiple playthroughs on while I work/do stuff around the house, and pretty much everyone has experienced all these bugs that I've seen lol. Haven't watched Jack, though.

Jack has a moment where he clips through a vent allowing him to stand up. Then Yarnaby ignoring the rules. There might of been more but I can't even think of em. Then I see Kruz's intro and I'm like holy damn.
I've seen a couple bugs in Pezzy's or Grizzy's stream, but I did not think it would be THAT buggy on your end. To me, bugs aren't a big deal, but Boy I can see how this may have ruined your experience. I thought the overall story and lore was good, it got darker than the last for sure, but they should've playtested and made sure the bugs weren't THIS BUGGY and controls being THAT bad at times.

I 100% agree with your takes on the releasing of this game. I play a shit ton of games from across the spectrum of developers from big "AAA Studios"( have some other words about them. to small indie teams to even lone developers and regardless if the game doesn't play at a base level as intended it should not be released let alone boosted in the reviews like Poppy is being. I've played early access games with less content but run better then this and would recommend them more.

This game doesn't use the Flare/Purple Hands basically at all which makes them pointless. My biggest issue with this game is just how un-scary this is. Like. Compare Yarnaby's jumpscare to Huggy Wuggy's. It's a joke. Huggy Wuggy's jumpscare was Quick and Loud. Which made me actually jump the first time I've seen it. This? The scariest thing in this game was the random steam pipe loud sound and that's saying something. Also why is this game so obnoxiously long??? Just make it 1 hour. This game has sooo much filler. And the section where Yarnaby should spawn (He didn't spawn obviously) But even if he DID spawn. It would have only made things more boring because you would need to constantly hide from him while trying to figure out this stupid puzzle that took me 30 minutes to do even without Yarnaby spawning (Also I couldn't find the stupid blue keycard because it just blends in with everything) JUST MAKE THE IMPORTANT ITEMS GLOW LIKE IN BENDY OR GRANNY. I honestly just quit this game in the part where you walk around in the red gas. Im not the best at finding my way through mazes. But this? This is just horrible. What does the oxygen mechanic add to the section? It's just annoying. You can refill the oxygen infinitely anyway so its just so terrible. I was super annoyed and tired of the game at that point so i just watched the rest on youtube. Let me just say the Doey Boss Fight is like the only good thing in this chapter (even then its not perfect). Not only do monsters not kill you instantly for some reason??? Even when they do the jumpscares are so bad. And slow. And the sections where Sawyer tries to kill you with gas. Or freeze you. Fuck that. It's not scary. It's not tense. You die 100 times. And slowly figure out what to do and its so bad. Sawyer's boss fight is just running around in the dark (which is badically 90% of this chapter). I just dont get it. Chapter 1 was so good. It didnt overstay it's welcome and was actually quite scary. Chapter 2 was a little bit too much with the puzzles. But it was still scary at times. Overall I enjoyed it. Chapter 3 was worse gameplay-wise but at peast it was scary. I really liked the vibe. Chapter 4? It just has no redeeming qualities. This game just gets worse with each Chapter. Yarnaby was completely wasted. The dark section with Yarnaby playing his distorted music looked so scary. BUT GUESS WHAT. Its not in the game. The last good thing in Poppy Playtime was the Mommy Long Legs Chase. Im honestly very disappointed with this chapter. And half of the time it was not clear where you should go. Bendy is not a perfect game But its so much better than this. At least it's clear what you should do. The was effort put into the animations of the game which makes me sad. It's just so much wasted potential. They focused on dragging out the game's length instead of making it actually good.

I remember playing KOTOR 2 when it released, the ending was unfinished but the game was fun up until that point. It was rightly criticized for it. Assassin creed Unity came out a buggy mess and almost ruined the franchise. ET is considered the breaking point for Atari and crashed the video game market in 83. Releasing broken or cash grab games has been happening for decades, I just can’t comprehend when we got to the point where people bought it, confirmed it’s unplayable, but then recommend it to others.

Okay, so the plot, the actual story and the writing, is great and I think the game is good. I personally didn't get any major bugs (if any at all? I probably had a few, but they were miniscule) when I was playing through it and I suck at playing just about any video game, so I died quite a bit and didn't encounter anything. I'm genuinely confused as to how your playthrough went SO wrong lol. Like, this would've changed my opinion on it entirely. I'm gonna check out some other people playing it and see if they also had issues.
I don't know if you'll be seen this but I just did some research about Mob Entertainment and sad news the main creator of the game left after chapter 3 and a whole lot of senior developers in a decent amount of them left as well so there is no developers added into this and all that which sucks and I think most of it was because of certain controversy and rumors of the actual team of abuse and stuff so it just feel apart. Honestly, looking past all of the bugs, this chapter, in my opinion, is still better than chapter 2. Chapter 3 is objectively the best chapter, so this chapter kinda felt ruined by all of the high hopes and expectations. And the fact the chapter got worse reviews than fucking garten of banban is straight up ridiculous, cause that game is nothing but cash grab in itself. 😂

There's NO excuse, and the fact u think citing one person's experience as the golden rule (which I do not believe that's actually the case since he could just cut out most of the bugs encountered for a plethora of reasons) Does not mean the majority's problems are all of a sudden self-made or irrelevant now since ONE person had less game breaking bugs.
He had less issues, yes. But still had them. He glitched through the floor at least once, and kept getting caught by yarnaby in the hiding places that are supposed to keep you from being caught

Just because it's not as bad as other games doesn't mean it gets a pass, and a whole ass boss not spawning is a pretty big thing to just miss. The game has multiple game breaking bugs, framerate drops for stupid things, and softlocks in so many places. They did not play test this and just released it not giving a damn, they deserve every ounce of criticism they get.
@kwayneboy1524 it's literally true, though. Chapter 3 had nearly 2 years of time to develop yet still had bugs and impossible puzzles, too. People were complaining about chapter 3's release taking too long, and now people are complaining about chapter 4, not taking the time to improve the bugs.
I think people went a bit to harsh on this chapter and no hate to you but i think you were very harsh on this but thats my opinion now, this chapter and the devs put in alot of work, its not bad its honestly amazing you just gotta understand that its new not everything will be 100% ok

steam prompts you to review games in your library. I always ignore them, but I never considered that there are people who fill ALL of them out

I mean you have to realize the fact that most of the important developers are not in the development team anymore like Isaac he was the director and he has now quit so that's why this chapter kind of sucks and I'm pretty sure that's why the players are excusing it because of this reason unless like other games.

I had so many like high hopes for this game on the first two chapters like I was like yes this is a good horror game. Now last one I was like bugs happen but if we fix them for next chapter then fine I see now it's dead because they pushed for $$$

I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish with this little "moral dilemma". Were they expecting players to actually feel conflicted about this? It doesn't work when this and the previous chapter has established the critters as little pains in the ass for the player.

Okay, so the plot, the actual story and the writing, is great and I think the game is good. I personally didn't get any major bugs (if any at all? I probably had a few, but they were miniscule) when I was playing through it and I suck at playing just about any video game, so I died quite a bit and didn't encounter anything. I'm genuinely confused as to how your playthrough went SO wrong lol. Like, this would've changed my opinion on it entirely. I'm gonna check out some other people playing it and see if they also had issues.
i liked it, yes it was buggy but it had lots of lore & Doey was so cool.

I don't know if you'll be seen this but I just did some research about Mob Entertainment and sad news the main creator of the game left after chapter 3 and a whole lot of senior developers in a decent amount of them left as well so there is no developers added into this and all that which sucks and I think most of it was because of certain controversy and rumors of the actual team of abuse and stuff so it just feel apart. Honestly, looking past all of the bugs, this chapter, in my opinion, is still better than chapter 2. Chapter 3 is objectively the best chapter, so this chapter kinda felt ruined by all of the high hopes and expectations.
And the fact the chapter got worse reviews than fucking garten of banban is straight up ridiculous, cause that game is nothing but cash grab in itself. 😂

@@schwiftgaming a lot of other youtubers had these same issues, saying set up problems has to be the DUMBEST excuse a human being can make for a universal problem 99% of the bugs are. There's NO excuse, and the fact u think citing one person's experience as the golden rule (which I do not believe that's actually the case since he could just cut out most of the bugs encountered for a plethora of reasons) Does not mean the majority's problems are all of a sudden self-made or irrelevant now since ONE person had less game breaking bugs.
He had less issues, yes. But still had them. He glitched through the floor at least once, and kept getting caught by yarnaby in the hiding places that are supposed to keep you from being caught

The fans aren't meat riding anything, the mob team work very hard on the chapters and there will be bugs again it happens as of rn they put out a patch mostly on the yarnaby section.
Its not up to cyberpunk levels of bad or fnaf security breach,
Also if a whole boss doesn't spawn in that is a dumb excuse to give it 0/10 or rip it to shreds
Just because it's not as bad as other games doesn't mean it gets a pass, and a whole ass boss not spawning is a pretty big thing to just miss. The game has multiple game breaking bugs, framerate drops for stupid things, and softlocks in so many places. They did not play test this and just released it not giving a damn, they deserve every ounce of criticism they get.

@kwayneboy1524 it's literally true, though. Chapter 3 had nearly 2 years of time to develop yet still had bugs and impossible puzzles, too. People were complaining about chapter 3's release taking too long, and now people are complaining about chapter 4, not taking the time to improve the bugs.
I think people went a bit to harsh on this chapter and no hate to you but i think you were very harsh on this but thats my opinion now,
this chapter and the devs put in alot of work, its not bad its honestly amazing you just gotta understand that its new not everything will be 100% ok
