One thing i wanna note from around 6:30 is that you can forge the 0 cost giants to keep making copies of them, you don't need to stop and forge the ones with mana cost remaining.
Yeah and if you can before the combo turn forge them down without duplicating them in your hand you start of at lower mana than 6 to continue forging. You really don't wanna be paying mana for the giants unless you really have to.
Did no one tell Roffle when he was live?
@@MilanDmm Probably just didn't make the clip because at the end there it looked like he was doing it? Not sure though, I expected chat to be pestering him about missplays the second it happened in the first one.
@@ruukinen also there's no reason to forge the giants b4 you start making copies of them to 0 just leave them at 2 and preserve that mana for something else that turn cuz you get 0 cost giants anyway.
That Rag hit at the end made me truly happy

Roffle, I just want to leave this here. I've been playing hearthstone for like 6 years, but up until 2022 i used to dust everything that went to wild in order to get the standard decks. Now, with a bit of money involved (preoorders) and the awesome thing that the rewards track is, i managed to get myself a basic but nice wild collection, and started to play wild ( especially reno decks). It's awesome, didn't have this much fun in the game for a while, and all this came after I starting watching you. Keep up the good and fun work! smooches
Storm Giant is such a fun card. Been playing a Galakrond Giant Warlock this week and it's been incredibly funny to have 2 8/8s on board by turn 4
I could understand one but how exactly do you get 2 off by turn 4 as Warlock?
@@TarlukLegion Coin the first turn to forge (6 mana), forge the second turn (4 mana), forge the third turn (2 mana), forge the fourth turn (0 mana), play it, play the 2-mana dude that gives a temporary copy, play it, too. 2x 8/8, 1x 3/2 on turn 4 to swing for a potential 19 damage turn 5 (or force removal).
I’ve been getting 2 8/8s by using mountain giant and forge of souls. No taunt tho

Contruct quarter killed minions and didnt care about stats so it made small guys bigger

you can continue to forge after 0, so maybe etc would be a good card as you can just forge endlessly to spend all your mana

I'm happy druid is getting cool decks this expansion. Its a neat combo makes me want to play the game again.
If only I ever ran into any druids that don't just play the same uninteractive Mill/Tony/Mechathun crap they've been playing for nearly 2 years
@@Zakading hoarding gold is the name of the game
But I've seen both priest and rogue play Storm Giants decks. They may not have ramp, but they can get the combo going faster.
@@blushingralseiuwu2222 Getting through the gold dumpster of Mill Druids is unfortunately part of every season and always nearly ruins the while game for me when I feel like playing any greedy decks.
Any reason to not attack middle minion at 9:31?
Because they would take only 2 damage. But personally, this situation can be avoided if he cleared the board with cleave in 5:04.

Boy howdy, the "Nature" that Guff keeps talking about looks REALLY different to how it used to. I don't remember quite so much fire and forging among the forests, but I suppose that he knows better than I do.

Can you not forge at 0? If so it makes more sense to forge the 0 cost again to get more 0 cost in that moment.

5:15 Miss hero power=miss 14 damage (6heal+8attack)
that turn from ruffle hurts my brain so much. Why not just attack with 8/8 to taunt then kill the left 3 minions with cleave weapon???. That 5 damage to 6/6 minion meant nothing and he ended up had to attack with 8/8 again.

i hope they fix the giant - if gets returned by freezing trap when he already costs 0 he stays at 2 mana no m,matter how many times he is forged
That would probably mean the Giants don't work with unending swarm since they aren't about to make noncollectables with negative mana cost.
@@ruukinenunending swarm works with the giants, as seen in tne video, unless you mean something else. Forging the giant at 0 simply keeps its cost at 0. Same effect as discounting a card that costs 0.
@@MarolandiaopolisTheThirdThat's where you are wrong. Forging actually changes the card to another noncollectable version of the card, in this case one with mana cost X - 2. The 0 mana one doesn't have one that costs -2 mana so forging it just returns the copy. Thus since freeze trap is an effect applied on the card and you return a copy you get one back that still costs 2 extra since 0 + 2 = 2.
If instead you wanted it to apply as a modifier like freeze trap the base cost of the card would still be 8 or whatever it is with increasing modifiers added to it and thus incompatible with unending swarm. I am aware it currently works with swarm as displayed in the video. I'm saying making it go back to 0 with freeze trap applied would make it not compatible. Assuming naive implementations of current card interactions.
@@ruukinen i understand the unusual part with freezing trap, i just meant it works similarly to discounts by virtue of the fact that cards cannot cost less than 0.

I know it's because of bots but I kind of like this cadence. I wouldn't mind a standard highlight for every 4-5 wild ones.
If only there were more ways to duplicate melted maker too. Eonar seems to be the only way.

Roffle is a better player than I am but between the weapon swing and giant forge missplay in the first game that was a lot and kinda weird to watch. Especially with chat not saying anything?
