The beaten signs on the trees are quite italian: are limits of a hunting area "Zona faunistico venatoria" Also the "snow/cold sign" is common: it's a three part sign "S bend road" in triangle + danger of slip + IF covered in snow.
You guys should do this again but on different computers, so you can play together and see who wins! mama maples just needs to create an account and then you add each other and friends and invite each other when you start a round. You get the same exact locations
I am so proud of Mama Maples for guessing/recognizing the Korean sign! I've seen a few Geoguessr videos where people see signs with Korean and guess Japan or something and every time it KILLS me lol
