In S3, we saw Homelander talking to one alter in the mirror. Now he's got 3. He keeps it up, he'll have countless splintered alters. Maybe one of them will even be genuinely good lol
I don’t think this counts as a spoiler, but what was on the table was actually a sort of lobotomy that sister sage, from what i can think of, is to make herself dumber. She probably wants to be able to feel normal, since that much amount of overdrive of intelligence that was given to her by compound V can really be impactful to the mind. Despite that though, she’s probably done this before and her supe healing has probably wore it off.

I'm surprised no one's calling out MM's hypocrisy. It's not ok for Butcher to team up with Soldier boy but it's ok for him to team up with A - train? Butchie atleast tried to not let MM get involved in it. MM on the other hand is not only being inconsiderate but is even trying to make Hughie forcibly obey him. He really is not cut out to be the leader.
That's because the team up between Butcher and Soldier Boy was based on revenge/retribution while the team up between MM and A-Train is based on justice/redemption. MM is the by the book type while Butcher doesn't go by any rules and regulations. Favoritism also plays a factor, despite the hypocrisy of it all.
@@dwnkaomwn3953Honestly I thought that Butcher teamed up with Soldier Boy to take out Homelander as a very obvious threat to the world with his increasing instability and to protect Ryan. Butcher and Homelander's fight in S3 didn't seem as personal as the first two seasons imo
@@AidantheLegend Those also played a factor , but Butcher has always wanted to bring down Homelander for what happened to Becca and he hates Supes with a passion. Over the course of Season 3 and onwards, Butcher's motive to protect Ryan was just another drive to take down Homelander.
@@dwnkaomwn3953 I mean regardless of Butcher's intention, Homelander was the biggest threat at the time. Doesn't matter if he was chasing his personal vendetta or not. Unlike other supes, Homelander alone can cause a f*cking apocalypse on his own. He's a walking calamity. They atleast knew that Soldier boy could be handled like the Russians did. Pretty sure Butcher would've helped MM to get his revenge AFTER they had defeated Homelander. MM just had to interfere bc of his personal trauma. Not that it's bad, but he could've waited. My point is that regardless of his intentions, MM is doing the same thing as Butcher did. The difference is that Butchie actually had a shot at killing Homelander while MM is risking everyone's lives in the team with still not having any proper plan against Homelander and Neumann. He clearly doesn't have what it takes to be a leader. The boys works better with Butcher in the lead and MM holding the team together.
@@Rinnegan_user756?? How would they have taken down Soldier Boy? Maybe the poison would have worked to knock him out... Maybe the poison would have worked on Homelander too? They can't do anything to the walking nuke and would have died if not for the number of Supes fighting him.
The scene with sister sage is probably herself trying to make herself "dumber" so the intrusive thoughts are gone. However I wonder if maybe Compound V has an effect on people that makes them less emotional because aside from Kimiko all Sups are exremely unemotional, even Annie, and Kimiko has some other problems... maybe Sage found out that she can temporarily (because she has regenerative powers, we saw it in her spread sheet) disconnect the part of her brain that is changed by the V so she can be "normal", giving some characters an out
The needle on the table was for Sister Sage to lobotomize herself. Kind of dumbs her down as a way to relax and take the edge off. Which is why she was eating junk food, watching reality TV and finding Deep attractive. And she has regenerative powers, as per profile, so she’ll be right back to her smart self in the morning.
Not enough people are realizing how special that ryan and butcher scene is. Butcher is a real p.o.s and ryan is the second coming of satan potentially. That's the best dynamic of the whole show by far
The writers went crazy this season, but in a bad way. I think Annie from season 1 would never have done that to the sparkler girl. I also don’t like splitting up the team and having them do their own thing.
Cause Annie from Season 1 was a changed person at that point. Annie admits that it was immature and selfish

The character playing Noir isn’t someone we’ve met in the show before. The real life actor playing Noir is the same guy who has been under the suit the whole time lol.
Also I don’t know if you caught it, Sage gave herself a lobotomy, that’s what the ice pick/needle thing was for, not killing the octopus. Sage has regenerative abilities, so at night she gives herself a lobotomy so she can “turn off her brain” and be dumb like us normal people and chill with junk food and tv, and by morning she is healed up and back to normal.
