We have to set up the OR beforehand, do prep on mom, make sure our counts of equipment are correct with no interruptions, we also open mom up first to make sure no complications come up so when dad comes in we cover her real quick so he doesn’t see all the blood….. We also have to do a “time out” before we start with no one else in the room but the patient and staff beforehand… Then we go get dad and it goes quick from there! :-)

I got blankets with gift certificates to get them personalized and that was really cool to go get done so if I changed the name at the last min I wouldn’t have stuff with the wrong name on it haha ❤
