I re-worked Bootsy’s “Funk Formula” and he placed the approximately 30 seconds result at the beginning of his recently released album “The power of the one”. A great honor because he’s been one of my top idols all my life. And beside that, I had the great pleasure of group hugging him when he entered the audience at the North Sea Jazz Festival in 1998 I believe it was. So no complaints! Keep The Funk Alive! Bootsy and Patti are the sweetest most genuine people. I have met them both a few times going back to the 90s when Patti was always at the merch tables. I even invited them to my wedding as a fan (and they politely declined) They are classy as it gets. Givers. Community builders. Dog lovers. Reach out and touch somebody, baba. What a legend. Bootsy Collins Rubber Band at Slims SF 1990 is still in my top shows I've ever seen out of countless shows, and GIve it up or turn it loose is among the hardest bass grooves ever dropped. That groove will echo in space for all time.

(Besides that, I am from Sandusky, OH (Cedar Point) so from one Buckeye to another, I love and respect you Bootsie. 😂 I loved you with Parliament and I loved you with George Clinton and I loved you when you created yourself in the 1980's moving forward. IMO, That is the kind of music I grew up on. I graduated from high school in "76" and I grew up on your music. I still trust in everything you and yours loved from all these years through 2019 and now 2024... Moving forward, you are still my favorite artist and my favorite soulful Inspiration. Loving inspiration to old funk combined with a new funk. Boostie, I just reached 66 years old in May, but I do not look a day over 65, lol....🤣🤣🤣 WE love you Bootsie. I am in the Medical Field and just wrapped up my last patient with traveling. The HIPPA Laws do not follow me at this stage of m_ carreer, since my patient has passed. My other patient was a Denver Boncos FOOTBALL PLAYER back in the early 1970's. Sam Brunelli SAM was a great man and a great FB player and a great person to work for, he was kind he was exceptionally ]rsonable and Kind.. It's hard to meet people from that era like myself.Who are kind and still thoughtful like yourself?It was great reading about your story and i'm so happy to hear it that you're doing well. Please tell your wife.She is a lucky person and I for one have a very thoughtful and kind husband and I appreciate your music till this day. I just played some old schd other music today.
