Id love to see you guys run the 270z on the majority of your episodes next season ! Pelagics offshore and inshore.Its time for people to really see the true capabilities of these modern day bay boats. Its truly a jack of all trades. Great at many things but perfect at none. I love my bay boat lol

Heisenberg914 _ agree but too bad they can still see land when they go offshore. catching mahi mahi, marlin, and tile fish and you can still land still blow my mind. wish I can do that in louisana
Nothing too bad with that ! lol I understand the envy though. A 30 +mile run here on the space coast for pelagics. However occasionally we get sails and peanuts running 5 miles out but its essentially like winning the lotto when that happens.
Good review. I’m surprised there is no center console portable toilet for the wife.
Wow this is a beautiful boat Captain Mike! Incredible the amount of storage and accessibility this bay boat has. Looking forward to seeing more episodes using this boat next season

Looking at buying the 370 CC it's obviously not a bay boat but I've researched for almost a year now and it's the best boat in it's class. The 39 footer you run is just a hair too big for me but man it's awesome. How are the Verados treating you? The triple 300's are what I was eyeing.

In Australia a 15 foot 40 hp is considered good and big. And yes it makes sense for a hard working citizen. But in America it seems everyone owns a 25 foot 300 hp. Makes me wanna move to the US

The 270Z vs. the BlueWave 2800 Pure Hybrid, any opinions?
I think it’s awesome but lost me with the live well. Looks like it would be a pain getting to the very back on a choppy day. But idk I’ve never been on one.

I was wondering if you had any maintenance issues with your Minn Kota trolling motors since you originally aired this video or any others? I have a 32’ OffShore and I’m trying to decide between the Minn Kota or a Rhodan, a local Florida company. I welcome any feedback, pro or conn, thanks.
One power pole with ladder or 2 power poles? Seems like 2 power poles is way to go, but makes family outings interesting. Does this boat have a ladder?

Beautiful boat! Looks like there is a substantial stress crack in the gel behind the aft seating between the butt and the back rest. You can see it at the 12:11 mark in the video. Great presentation Capt.!

The 270z is a good alternative to the Calcutta for V hull guys.

Wes D, This is my exact dilemma. That Calcutta 263 is slick, but man so is this. Both boats have unparralled storage and functionality.

Florida Sport Fishing thanks for your reply. I live in Belize (you guys need to do a trip down here!) and currently run a Mexican panga/lanchon and always feel a little nervous of the deep water. How would you ascertain if a boat is safe for open water? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I like the whaler 270 Dauntless better. Has better shade screens too Jack plates for shallow and rear large seat at the bow too. Foam around every locker box in a Whaler.
Capt. Mike, Just got my 270Z. I'm running same setup as you. What hole on your outboard are bolted to the jackplate? Mine came on the 3rd hole from the top? Motor seems to be a little high? I'm thinking I need to drop to the first hole from the top.

What about hull slap
Can be an issue if fishing really shallow water for spooky bonefish, permit, etc, but this is no technical poling skiff no was it designed to fish 6 inches. Its more of versatile bay boat/near shore platform. - Capt Mike
Handy to get to battery's try laying down on that door that does not fold down all the way
