Pro Tip for anyone fishing in Jupiter inlet area. If you take a right as soon as you enter the inlet. Drop is down left of it, only if it is there. Tons of monster snook, and you can catch them using the best bait. Make sure it is large and the color is exactly what they are, even if it is darker or lighter. To hook the big ones, jig it over and up above where I was saying. Don’t stop until it is over and just about in that spot! All 40+ snooks and I’ve caught at least 2 dozen. Amazing action, just make sure you feel and reel very much like the form I explained!
Amazing video as always. Only thing that I disagree with was the section on pier snook fishing. At Sebastian, the fish are out towards the middle a lot of the time. You need something that's reasonably beefy but also able to chuck a bait out there. 5000 sized Penn spinner with an 8-9' rod is ideal.
Trump Troll even if you try but only and that isn’t why you would do it. I’ve been fishing for awhile on that side of the inlet, but only if you can. That’s why I’ve always, so make sure you try. Catch the from that spot every time. Just let me know, then can and get it big for the boat all the time!
@@C5000-p5q the snook can be a little tough to catch if you are only in it for that reason. Cast your rod and reel quick if there isn’t anything available or if that is. Then you can go and round around and dig or that if you can, but then you might try harder or it could potentially be nothing at all.
You mention Jupiter Inlet. Where at the inlet is great for snook fishing if you are fishing from the bank? I’m down here in Lake Worth and plan on going up there in the next day or so. What is the best time? The bait store says when the tide is outgoing. Does that mean low tide?
So, I'm a 38 yr old veterinarian living up in Jupiter. I watched your vids for wahoo and swordfish... then stumbled upon this as the 3rd vid. From now on... you're probably the only person I'll even entertain advice from... and it's not because of catching anything. Things like staring at a knot you just did, deciding you don't like how it laid down, and doing it again.... or, sure fishing is fun, but every single time you go out, you must be ready and rigged as though you may hook the world record and are indeed trying to do so... or, just because other people do it a certain way, doesn't mean you can't FIGURE OUT THE PHSIOLOGY OF THE SITUATION YOURSELF, AND DISCOVER YOUR OWN PERFECT SYSTEM, etc... etc... these are mental illnesses I share. You are better at all aspects of offshore fishing than I am... As for snook, there are tons of guys better than me at jigging, fishing inlets, etc.... However, when it comes to spillways... I take a backseat to no one. Dave Justice and the madsnooker themselves could walk away from a floodgate empty handed, and I'd still walk up there and catch one. If you ever wanna try and learn something new, or fish a gate, let me know. Eventhough I'm in Jupiter now, I grew up on the S37A off dixie hwy between Laud/Pomp... and have that one dialed in best. I can email over two snook at 40lb (inches dont matter 😉) if you don't believe me. Anyhow.... nice vids... keep em goin. - Chris
Great video. I'm glad I'm not the only one who rants about the cost of a Spooltek.

if i see luke fishing my spot, im going to show him whos daddy
i free lined with no leader on 20# test, with a 1 ot circle hook and got him in, 32 # and 40 " so you can catch a snook without a leader and sinker
The only thing I've ever been able to catch a snook on is a silver shad.
