You said you have pain and now you want to increase the minutes? I would suggest you establish a consistent routine first because it is hard to maintain consistency if you increase the duration during the early days. As you proceed to higher stages, the duration will gradually increase ma. This is my recommendation ma.
If simple breathing is causing pain, that means your body is not in a great condition ma. Only way to fix it is through consistent practice. Proceed cautiously and be consistent ma.
Tried today and the count was13. I shd continue doing this for how many days? I am taking deep breath holding for some time and after exhale also holding for some time. Is that correct?
@@puratchipranayama but I am used to doing yoga and pranayama regularly for the last 2 years..I hv started this practice from this morning it was 12 to 13 counts average every 5 mins and I did for whole 1 hr..now in the evening i could do only for 20 mins 15 counts very 5 mins..am I doing it correctly..pls advise sir..thnks for ur quick response.vazhga valamudan

Good pa.. Keep the ratio between MEH and MIH as 1:2.,. So, if you are able to do 23 seconds in MEH, restrict MIH to 46 seconds only.. So practice (23MEH, 46MIH).. Puriyudha?

Adhuvae kashtam na, approam epdi pa indha kashtamaana life la peacufulla vaazhuradhu? Romba kashtama irundha, don't use the clock. Just set a timer for 5 minutes and practice. Whatever works for you, is the best practice for you pa.

Its wrong.. You should not hold your breath in Stage 1.

5 mins till stage 4. then ten mins from stage 5. ur count is okay. keep trying to reduce.
