I did this 😭 thank you so much ☺️ it worked 🥹 my daughter can rock her braids now. They are not perfect because it was my first time but they look decent 🥰 I’ll keep practicing. God bless you 🙏🏾
I searched so hard to find this video again? Thursdays, Aug. 22, 2024 Is my bday and I wanted my hair braided for my 2 weeks vacay. I didn’t feel like doing the many feed ins of hair and refound this vid. Hope mine looks as nice as you did hers! Happy 62 to me!
OMG! This is brilliant. I have knotless braids in my hair right now, and my daughter said she wants braids, but i get anxiety when thinking about taking her to braid salon cuz she's extremely tender headed. Only I can do ger hair right now. I know how to braid, but not feed in. Thanks to this technique I know I can now give mini me the braids she wants. Thanks so much for posting this queen!👏
Omg!! Same for me except my daughter is 23. She will not comb her hair daily because she is so tender headed and she has long, fine, very easy to tangle hair. She is so scared to go to braid hair salon that she keeps putting it off. Meanwhile her plaits are getting fuzzy. I put those in as a temporary style meant for a day or 2… now it’s been 2 weeks!😢 I’m going to do this myself and we will just call it a day. Lol. 😂
Thank you so much for sharing this technique 🙌🏾❤🙌🏾!!! I watched last night and just got finished slaying my baby braids today. It took me 3hrs... I'm not a braider but needed her hair done for vacation and she loves it bc looks just as her braider does it lol!!! So grateful for your video ..Stay Blessed ❤
Thank you for posting this video! I put on 0.5 playback speed and was able to follow your hand placement and how you incorporated the braiding hair! First video I have found that makes me feel confident to do this. Beautiful work!
You just saved my life with this, sis. I'm doing my 10 yr old's today....for the first time. I saw a similar technique. But it wasn't knotless....which is what I prefer. Yay! Thank you!
I can’t braid hair but your basic plait. But I think I can do this after watching your video. Amazing job demonstrating everything from how to space your braids, to picking the correct amount of braiding hair, to using gel to get your parts straights, and the positioning of your hands. Simply amazing!! Thank you!
I'm in the process of taking mine down. I was in search of an easy tutorial for myself. I definitely appreciated the visual only. Perhaps I will finally get off the struggle city bus...good luck to everyone ❤😊
AS A WHITE PERSON FROM EUROPE WITH VERY THIN STRAIGHT HAIR I AM ALWAYS ASTOUNDED AT THE WORK THAT IS PUT INTO MAINTAINING SUCH A BEAUTIFUL HEAD OF HAIR,IT LOOKS SO HEALTHY! 😮 I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE THE WORK THAT GOES INTO THAT EVERY DAY. THIS IS JUST AWESOME
I have never came across this technique before. This is genius, really. Furthermore, it adds less tension on our hair. Thanks for sharing this with us 👍
I love this video, I have always braided in what’s considered the knotless style from the root I never put the hair in the middle like this video. I have been braiding over 30 yrs of my 42 yrs alive. I also know how to do box braids but just naturally braided knotless, underhanded or overhanded. No one taught any of the females in my family we all just started braiding from my Mom,sisters, nieces,to my daughter.
Ohh I’m going to try this on my own hair as I have done knotless on my own hair before but the feeding in part I find a little tricky and takes me so long so hopefully this will be quicker and easier, even with my fine hair. Fingers crossed.
This is so smart. I had this exact idea today. So much quicker than feeding hair in. Same idea, but you showed me an easier, more efficient way to do it. Thank you!
Oh wow! Just in time for school 🤗 thank you 🙏🏾I really appreciate you showing this way of doing knot less box braids, going to try on my daughter hair🥰🔥❤️
❤❤❤❤THANK YOU!!! I am not a professional. I always do the rubberband box braids for my child but could never accomplish the knotless because of the feeding in of the hair. This is perfect!🥰
Looks simple enough! I learned how to do knotless finally after practicing on someone one time but struggled doing it on my own short hair. This method looks much simpler and quicker. I’ll have to try it someday.
I have naturally very straight hair, I'm European, not a hairdresser, so I do not need to know how box braids are done. But I'm still watching the whole video because It's so fascinating and satisfying and wish, I could learn how to do them 😂. Beautiful end results, bravo ❤
Can you tell me what hair you purchased and the length. I have a 4 year old and don’t want it too long. I want to be able to put it in a pony tail though. Thank you
@@joinmelove it's 28 inches long but folded in half is 14 inches. If you want it shorter you can buy the regular pack of X-pression hair and cut it to the length you like but you will have to stretch it out by yourself.
The level of dedication and skill is amazing. As a woman with straight pubic hair ( I am Korean) I can barely even tie my hair into a pony tail. I need to amp up my game
I think you just permanently saved me well over $1k a year. I’m so glad I stopped to watch your video. I’m dead serious. This was the ONLY thing missing for me,…how to actually start the braids in a way where it would stay. You’re amazing for doing this. I was using rubber band at the beginning of my braids and my hair is not set up for that long term. This is perfect. Thank you.
Wonderful! ❤❤ what a beautiful little person! I’m impressed but not surprised that you invented a whole new technique that gives the effects of feeding in braids without the confusion (for people like me) because you’re obviously brilliant.💕 I can’t wait to try it and thanks for sharing!😉😊
Looks REALLY good! Great job, Mama. And, thanks for the tutorial... Makes sense the way you braided the hair in... Much simpler technique, with the same result. 😃😉👍🏾❤
This is great. My ( irish twin) daughters are completing their cosmetology program in high school. If this is 2 hours long, the girls can do it for about an hour.
Wow, this technique is amazing. I can definitely try doing my daughter's hair this way, because I can't grip the hair and braid. I wish could do this to my hair. Her hair is beautiful!!!!❤❤❤
Maam… you’re a genius. I’m trying this on myself because I feel like I can do it now 😂 I think you just changed the knotless game 😮 first time seeing this method !
I did this 😭 thank you so much ☺️ it worked 🥹 my daughter can rock her braids now. They are not perfect because it was my first time but they look decent 🥰 I’ll keep practicing. God bless you 🙏🏾
You should have posted it. I would have loved to see it
@@leele2579 will do them again and I’ll post 🥰
I’m about to try it today on my daughter. I’m praying they come out decent.
Wow.... u have now motivated me. I am the most hopeless when it comes to braiding hair. At least I learnt something. Thank you 😊
Practice makes perfect
I love the fact that you didn't have2 keep adding hair after the first time. Great job and hair style is versatile.
That will factor in the length as far as adding more pieces. If you want longer braids, add pieces as you braid for length.
Yes she did,!! She add fake hair ALL OVER THE HEAD !! 😡👊🏽
@@GB2139you clearly don't understand what she means

I’m slow when I do braids, so this technique will help a lot. ❤
Me too and I think the issue is constantly feeding the hair when this method saves like 3 extra steps!!!
Can I see the hair tomorrow

How’d it turn out?
@@abruce3263It turned out well for my first attempt doing knotless on myself. I definitely need more practice😅
Thank you!!! Because that feeding has deferred me from knotless. I will def be using this technique.
Thank youuuuu!! I have to try this this way because the struggle is real trying to feed in hair!! TFS
you welcome
