    We love Temecula. We go there at least twice a month.

    Looks like the wineries are really nice there.

    Never thought of Temecula as a wine destination given Napa and Sonoma.

      Yes Delpha, it's not as well known but it is really nice. It's newer than Napa and Sonoma so you'll find some fantastic tasting rooms since they were built later. And it's easy to get to the wineries without long drives.

    I like that you said the wineries are somewhat close together keeping driving to a minimum.

      That is tru Aliyah. It makes visiting 3 or 4 a day easy. If fact, you will see so many wineries on your drive, you'll wish you stayed longer.

    The desserts at the Goat & Vine looked awesome.

      Verlie, you are right. The desserts were so delicious. We took some of both back to our hotel. There was no way we could finish them.

    For some reason, we never get into downtown. Looks charming.

      Yes, if you just follow the signs to the wineries, you'll miss the downtown. But its so worth a visit.

    Who was shooting the video for the balloon ride? Did one of you not go up?

      Good eye Todd. LOL I (Keith) doesn't like heights so only Tina did the balloon ride.

    How far is Temecula from the San Diego airport?

      Maybell, it's not far at all. Just a little over an hour drive. And it's an easy freeway drive. Thanks

    Did you find the tasting rooms crowded like in Napa and such?

    • @RetireEarlyAndTravel
      @RetireEarlyAndTravel  4 года назад

      Victoria, we didn't find them crowded at all. However, we did hear that some can be crowded on the weekends. But if you have to wait, there are 40 more wineries you can visit. :)

    Can you ride horses to the wineries and taste?

    • @RetireEarlyAndTravel
      @RetireEarlyAndTravel  4 года назад

      Yes you can Jack. There are winery rides where you can ride to tasting rooms. That's on our bucket list.
