Ian .. thank you so much for your support, during and after the run. Honestly we are lost for words, what an inspirational gentleman you are 💙. Thanks again. Regards, Milo Ainsworth (speedy 6 year old) and Chris Ainsworth (emotional Dad) ! P.s .. Telford next time .. sounds amazing 🦖
Aww thanks, it was lovely to meet you all, I love running with my two children but they don't quite match Milo's speed, hope you like some of our other parkrun tourism videos, Iona normally rates the playgrounds too so Milo might like that 😄 Definitely check out Telford, can't beat seeing dinosaurs while running parkrun!
I tend to think age-gradings should be taken with a large pinch of salt at that age (same as at older end of spectrum) but most important thing was he was obviously enjoying it and could push at the end, he had the right mindset, fab to see!
I could not agree more. At their age it’s all about enjoying it, especially as he’s only done a handful of runs so far. Who knows what is in store for the future though. By the way Milo was born with 2 club feet which required surgery when he was 12 weeks old. He also spent his first 5 years wearing boots and bars for 12 hours per day. Now he just loves running which is amazing for us as parents , we are so proud especially considering everything he has been through 😃
@@ALittleAdventureTime age gradings aren’t perfect but I do think they provide an indicator for performance and progression (if that’s what you want). Enjoyment is 100% key - which is why claiming ‘future olympian’ might have felt a bit premature!
Was thinking of going here tomorrow but ive just seen how much grass you run in 🤔🙈 With this rain it may be a no go
Yes it could be a bit damp n the grassy bits

Haha we will get there.
We have been watching your videos, Milo has them on his iPad too 👌🏽
Hopefully see you and family at another one soon 🤞🏼
‘Only’ a 67.63% grading for Milo. Good but not regional level yet (70%+)
