I don’t use duel links enough to know all these quirky elements to it, but I like knowing that Téa is the character they chose to give skills like this to. Undefeated Champion of YGO…Téa Gardner!
Probably faced a gift deck, people would just run "gift" or "present" cards to give to the opponent, good or bad, doesnt matter, their goal was to "gift" the opponent a "present".
Even knowing that the card I get with Surprise Present is never going to be good, I'm always so tempted to do so just to see if they gave me anything weird or funny with it. They rarely do.

I used them with Aoi who actually had the freaking ability to move them of your own accord and now with the legend of the heroes skill it's actually pretty much toxic to get the Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax
@@nunyabiznes33 my variant is a pure lockdown on turn 1. No monsters, no spells. Traps stay because I already have a way out of them thanks to simple advantage or just using literally one chain. It's basically the easiest one to get past any limits with since you don't need all of those cards, but the ones for the current meta.
I played a mekk night player as crowler he has an effect to set a continuous spell on your turn after that every melk knight player was using that skill I remember.
Most ppl were using mc knights with crowler using the ancient gear castle skill because out of all the "start with a card on your backrow" skills, crowlers was the safest, because it only start on your own turn, so if you go 2nd, the opponent cant pop it turn 1.
I have seen Saint Mary of duel links after the day of good Sunday of the holy week, that's tea Gardner and she is the light of bullshit for many years.
i like when we have goofy skills in the game that do silly things, i miss when star blast was unlimited and all these completely unusable skills suddenly became playable and you could do funny stuff with them. i wish they would've just made it so you couldn't use those skills in pvp outside custom rules so we could still play them
It still boggles my mind how they put Mekk knights in duel links. Like the zones are so compact which makes it so easy to play the deck to it's full potential and more. I've never seen Mekk knights pop off this easily and this consistently in the TCG/master duel.
Maybe it's the way I play but I never lost to this combo I mean it's easy to beat with "Great Trunade" and SuperHeavy Samurai made this deck a joke in my experience

Damn, so Tea in this game had a pseudo Kashtira strategy? Localized Tornado or the Assault trap function as spell zone locks, so good luck playing pendulums. Block all 3 zones and you outright kill ritual/fusion decks.
Yep I remember abusing this skill before GX world it wasn’t good on most pvp cause they aren’t forced to activate the card but some opponents do it for more space.
If I had a nickel for every time one of Tea's skills broke the meta i'd have like. 3 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened three times now, right??
Is mechaba in duel links het or is cocyutus still the best invoked monster there? Aleister trades a normal for a link 1 in the EMZ (assuming almiraj/artemis are legal) and invocation you can set, so I'm guessing there has to be a reason why that's not just the go to play
no mechaba or almiraj yet, we do have artemix though. Invoked is the best we have, and its legit banned. When/if we get mechaba, unironically I think invoked mekk knights will be playable.
@@cuchutrain no almiraj is painful with purgatrio being the strongest legal fusion. I mostly played duel links back in the days of tier 0 invoked, it was really funny. If mechaba came out would it shoot back to tier 0 or is duel links power creep at the point were normal summoning a 2500 ultimate providence every turn is not busted?

@@neonoah3353I use MC Knights with "It's a Toon World", because it does the same as the Crowler skill, plus I can use Comic Hand to steal monsters

Pendelum decks use skills that add a dedicated pendulum zone to their field so no, it won't stop them from doing pend summons.
