Personally I don’t think canon Basil manipulated Sunny. I think he was just in denial and didn’t know how to handle it- and he wanted to keep his closest friend. Didn’t want to believe Sunny was capable of killing. His actions were wrong, but just his way of coping, and he isn’t manipulative. However I do like the idea of manipulative Basil a lot- I think of it as an AU, but a really cool AU. A fun what if. Plus, the video you made is really creative, and you put a lot of effort into it.
