It roughly translates to ''Sleep little Krishna, O blissful one and may blissful sleep come to Govinda''(basically another name for Vishnu and therefore Krishna-coz Krishna's an incarnation of Vishnu). Basically, it implies that the baby is little Krishna and hopes that the baby gets a really good sleep.

We Bangaloreans speak the most number of languages. We don't differentiate or bond because we speak Kannada, Tamil, Hindi or Malayalam. We are not so shallow... We are cosmopolitan city which welcomes all people. And to answer your question the bespectacled guy has been born and brought up in Bangalore (his mother tongue is Malayalam) and the other guy has parental roots in a country called Jordan.
