Bless you both, what a horrible thing to happen to you Judy, thank goodness it didn't happen whilst you were away. We all need that Judy sparkle back , take it easy and enjoy each other in your beautiful cottage. I know yhere will be plenty of fun and laughter when you get to Lanzarote ❤
Hope you are feeling better soon, I know you can always arrange another holiday but your health comes first, like your upbeat message about doing things now,👌
sending you all our love; keep smiling and hang in there. Oh by the way, we're looking at Tenerife for January so never know we may catch up and Lizzie's bionic arm makes just as many strange noises when it gets hot inside the cast, lol so you can blame any strange sounds on Lizzie ;) xx
Hello judy and mark. Ooo poor judy ,il didn t know about your opération, glad you are better now. Take great care of you. Big kisses to you both from france 🇨🇵 😘😘
Wishing you the best of recoveries and so glad they caught it in time 🥰 The sunshine will be waiting for you when you’re ready. Keep that sparkle lit you’re fabulous. Hugs to you both
So lovely to see you sounding so positive, and on the mend. You are so right...'Every day is best!' So happy that you can enjoy some of your winter trip. xx
Hello Judy, never posted on your channel but always watched. In 2019 after feeling ill and seeing my GP, 3 days later I was in A&E with sepsis after my bowel burst. Three days later I woke up in ICU with a stoma😢. Not gonna lie but my life changed, unless you have one nobody knows what you go through emotionally. I was devastated and embarrassed. My reversal didn't work so I have had to learn to live with a "bag for life" yes I still devastated but I still go on holidays and it's not that bad😔. My one tip when travelling is get a sunflower pass from airport which is free and it just makes travelling throw security easier. Thank you for sharing your story for stoma people 🥰 it's a journey.
Thanks for sharing and yes we’ve heard about the sunflower lanyard we have booked special assistance for all flights. We are allowed extra free baggage for medical supplies. And you can also get a stoma passport so to avoid a search in public as I always set the alarms off at the airport xxx
Awww I really feel you judy😢 I am going on holiday on 8th January to celebrate my 50th birthday to hurghada, Egypt. Without my stoma I wouldn't be here to see it. Just remember it will take time to live with it but somehow you do. I really know what you going throw and it breaks my heart but trust me you do learn to live with it. Sending love to you. 🥰
Aww sorry to hear this. You are a very fortunate lady to get through such a trauma. Best wishes for a speedy recovery xxxx Marc is a star for his support ❤❤❤
Try not to let "Stormin" Norman" get you down. Stoma nurses are always amazing and full of good advice. They have a knowledge of the best online support groups and will show you the best way to do changes ( my husband always did his lying down rather than standing) and avoid explosions. Love to you both.
We know you do your best to respond and like and heart. I more than most always look forward to a wee word from you. Judy I am so glad you are recovering and thank you kindly for letting us all know what happened. Please be well before getting on a plane. Mark look after her. I have heard that fear in my own wife's voice and its nothing ever nice. Stay safe and you can always glitter a stommer bag.
Hi Judy, So sorry to hear about your health issues, my father had a Stoma for over 30 years and he coped very well…. You are such a positive person you’ll cope no problem. Thanks for sharing and being so open about this, you will inspire others who have similar issues. Get well soon and hopefully enjoy your travels, we will be watching. Take care. Love and hugs. Rog + Jax. Xx
Sending you both so much love, you are made of strong stuff Judy👍 and mark you are a wonderful hubby!! Nobody knows, do they😘😘 lots of healing vibes. You are going to the best place Lanzarote , my favourite place.xxc Ps; I've seen a few people on beach with stomas, xxx
Oh my goodness Judy, you certainly have been through the mill, but thankfully, apart from your unwanted addition, you are on the road to recovery and you have Marc by your side supporting you. You have been extremely lucky and thank goodness you were still in the UK when all of this happened. I wish you a speedy recovery and remember, it's ok to have down days. Hopefully they will get less as you start to feel better. Much love to you both
Lovely to see you are so positive, you are an amazing woman, after all you’ve been through and you’re still bubbly 😁, just take this time to rest and relax, Lanzarote be here before you know it and you’ll have your winter in the 🌞. Take care and best wishes to you both xx 💕💕
How awful for you! That is a really serious condition. Perforated bowel! Thank goodness this happened at home and not while you were away. You had a very lucky escape. So glad that you are on the mend. But take it easy! I can see the strain on Mark’s face. You are such a cheery couple and I love watching your videos. But please do all you can to give yourself time and space to recover. Love to you both. Xx
Lovely to hear you on your vlog Judy. You're such a positive and upbeat lady. An inspiration to us all. Keep resting and you'll soon be in sunnier climes. Keep well. You've got a good man by your side. Xxx
Blimey Judy you have been through it. So pleased you’re OK. What could’ve happened is not worth thinking about and to have a stoma bag it’s pretty good considering what it could’ve been. Make sure you rest up and take as much time as you need big love to you both.
Best wishes Judy and to your 1 in a million husband Mark and thanks for sharing your Stoma story you are 1 in a million too. Please keep telling us how you are getting well …..❤🙏💪👏👍☘️
Oh Bless you both, my wife and I listened to you with a 😢 in our eye . I'm so so so so happy you're ok my lovely...some one was looking down on you...x Take it easy look after yourselves and we'll see you in December..😊 XxxxxxxxxxX All our love James and Donna
Lovely to see your smiling face. I'm sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately the 50's are often a time where health can take a sudden turn - as I found out. I also thought I'd never be able to go out in public again, but I eventually did. (Different condition to you). I was however in hospital next to a lady with an exploding stoma so I understand your fear. Thank god you didn't get on a plane!! Gawd bless the NHS. Remember getting better is not always linear and can have temporary setbacks.
So sorry to hear what you have been through but as you say, you were also very lucky. You have never looked better though 😊 and I have been following ye all along. You will get the hang of the stoma and just look at it as a temporary nuisance. Take it easy 😊
So sorry to hear your news, I have a close friend who had a similar story to you a number of years ago, she still has the stoma but you would never know, and she travels all over the world, 🤞things continue to improve, look after yourselves, we are all thinking of you, take care
Hi both. Judy, I am so sorry to hear what you have been through, you are lucky to have Mark as your rock. My partner had to have a stoma, and like you, he was mortified. We decided to deal with it head on and not shy away from it. I suggest giving it a name, that way it makes it easier to refer to in conversation. He named his after his least favourite politician as the are both full of sh*t! Love your videos and can't wait to join you on your adventure. ❤
Glad you’re feeling better and looking forward to commencing your winter sun holiday in Lanzarote. I’m going there for the 8th time with family and staying a villa in Matagorda in 4 weeks time. Look after yourself xx
Hello to you both. So sorry to hear what has happened. Hopefully a speedy recovery and back to the travelling and enjoying life. Have been following you both on your adventures for a while now and your positive attitude to life is inspirational to us all. Wishing you all the best and happiness for the future. Can't wait for your next installment.
Oh boy, what a lot to go through so quickly, but you look fabulous as always and if it’s reversible even better. Stomas take time to get used to. So much more options of clothing and underwear that helps hide them and give you more control. Don’t let it stop you being you. Can’t wait for your adventures when you are able ❤
Aww Judy, as you say doesn't bare to think about it. I'm sure the stoma nurses will sort things for you, understand how you're feeling though. Speedy recovery lovely lady. xx
What a shock. It’s a lot to get your head around as well as recovering frm the surgery and the effects of sepsis. Just lovely to see you both. PLEASE take care. All the very very best. 🥰

You are Amazing Judy, you have gone through all that and come out the other end, smiling and looking forward to your travelling again, well done.
