One reason their songs sound different from each other is that all eight members of the band write music. That will lead to different forms and vibes. I believe Yoshiwara Lament was written by the bassist, Asa.

YOSHIWARA is the town name of famous night area in the Edo era(about 250years ago). this song is about the lament of prostitute of the Edo era. the heart of prosititute in YOSHIWARA likes rainy...
it's little sad song but not so negative .

This song was written by Asa, the Bassist before he joined the Wagakki Band. It was a hit with his own band which still does concerts from time to time while still a member of the Wagakki Band. NOTE: If you watch enough Wagakki vids you'll notice they slightly change each song in each tour to keep it interesting, much like Led Zepellin did with their songs.

There are 8 Members. Yuko(Singer), Beni(Shamisen), Asa(Bass), Machiya (Guitar), Wasabi (Western Drums), Kurona( Taiko Drums), Daisuke (Flute), Kiyoshi (Koto). And the large keyless piano thing is called a Koto. And normally they have 2 sometimes 3 of them on stage at once.

That "chime" sound you heard at one point is probably Kurona (the Wadaiko drummer) playing this little metal bell-looking thing that he sometimes does. I don't know what it's called or exactly how it works, but it's kind of like a hollow metal cowbell-looking thing he shakes & bangs against some kinda small stick. Btw, I think this might be the first song where you heard Asa (the bassist) singing backing vocals. Usually, it's Machiya (guitarist) but Asa is a good singer as well.

watching the 2nd time, because the react is really good and passionate
the sound you asked at the end is from the traditional drummer, he switches instruments (a very small cymbal) in the middle of the song, he did it occasionally in different songs when it is needed
he is such a percussion instruments master that he have multiple of them hiding under his drum set

    • @hebiiukiyo1532

I like your "Strong Fate" reaction but seems it is blocked by Avex.
Wagakki band always produces amazing music videos. Unfortunately, Wagakki band stayed with Avex (starting from 2014) previously until last year. They are currently with Universal Music. So almost 80 to 90% of their songs are under Avex. I think there will be a high chance of violating those copyright rules of Avex if RUclips channels react to their music videos before late 2019.
To conclude, I think it will be safe to react with music videos of Universal (current company) which include "Ignite" and "Singing for".
Of course I would be excited to see your reactions of music videos before late 2019 because they are all masterpieces, maybe you can find any methods of lower the chances of being blocked?
Wagakki band also has good live performances which offer different experiences. A few youtube channels keep on uploading their live videos which can be great sources for reaction.
P.s. "Ignite" music video is highly recommended since it is the first song under Universal. It is a hard rock song but still get all those traditional elements. You will find that they suddenly become quite "modern", no matter the music or their costumes.

I think the tingling sound in 6:56 was made by Kiyoshi with his koto, by picking the strings between the base fret and the tuner (kinda like the strings between the nut/fret 0 and the tuning pegs in a head of a guitar) using his fingernails. I'm 100% sure tho :)

So their back stage stuff are paying so much attention to keep a balance of each instruments. (Otherwise hardly find small sounds)
