This was Brixton '94 middle of December, it was aired on MTV as part of their live gig thing on Sunday night about 3 years later. It was back when MTV played live music, Yo MTV Raps, Headbangers Ball, then that shit became Superrock, then MTV became 16 channels about peoples cribs and pregnant teens. I know this video was from December 94 because I was at the gig in Dublin the week later. Same setlist, they fuckin rocked the joint. Amen

I was at a Brixton gig in 1994 it was March 6. I met Fyfe afterwards, think Ricky Warwick was there backstage too.

@stabmasterarsonirl you might be confused.. The single "Screamager" was on the 93 Shortsharpshock E.P... But the album wasn't out until feb 94..

@Jibbaribba But enough about your mother.
Therapy? are still one of the best bands walking the face of the earth, forever keeping their sound fresh and interesting and still some of the sweetest people I've met in the music world. Generally people who badmouth them haven't listened to the dozen albums they've made (soon to be the bakers dozen) and taken in the diversity of sounds between them over the last 21 years.

@EvilElvisLives Went to see them last year, and they are still great, and Andy actually looks healthy for a change :) Still miss Fyfe :(

@stabmasterarsonirl If there was one true "breakthrough" year in the band's history, it would almost certainly be 1993. The release of the Shortsharpshock EP catapulted Therapy? into the Top 40, peaking at nine, featuring the lead track Screamager. Troublegum was Feb 94..

Trust me, I was enough of a fanboy to make sure I bought the thing the day it came out in early '94. Unless HMV and Our Price in Newcastle were indulging in some kind of intricate cover-up... I've always suspected those pesky chain stores.

Great band. These were the days when mtv played live bands and not shitty shows like cribs. I got into so many bans from watching them live on mtv. Fans of music are the 1's that are killing it off by downloading and not going to the shows. Fact

This band never got the recognition they rightly deserved. For me there the greatest band to come out of Ireland ever, Troublegum sucks ass, it's an okay album at best.

Troublegum came out in '94, but as for the show, you could well be right - wouldn't have a clue really!

Therapy? used to a well good band, but now they suck!
Think this show might actually be from '93. It was an MTV production and promotion for the Troublegum record that came out that year, Channel 4 probably picked it up later for broadcast..
