Love your videos. Makes me miss playing Disc Priest. I am currently a Holy Paladin main because I love the melee heal style but I have always loved the disc priest play style as well.
Hey man great video! I've been getting into Disc the last few days as my alt (usually playing Guardian rn) and these videos really help. One quick question though - You're usually casting Radiance -> Mind Blast/Rift but I've noticed that casting Mind Blast/Rift -> Radiance causes the Rift to expire before Atonement drops off while Radiance -> Mind Blast/Rift causes Atnonement to drop shortly before the Rift expires. So I've been wondering which order of casting it is considered better. To me, as a total Disc beginner (last time I've played it was probably Cata lol) Mind Blast/Rift -> Radiance seems more effiecient due to expiration/atonement timing. Oh and regarding that "Ninja Pull" at the end of Mists - Afaik Sheep puts the mage into combat. So as long as the mage doesn't drop combat by using Invis or something like that, the sheep will get pulled after expiration.
@@JustDiscipline Alright so casting Radiance after MB/Rift is preferable, as I thought. Thanks for the clarification! :D Looking forward to more videos, keep it up :)
Do you actually like Power Word: Life? I always feel the amount it heals for is very underwhelming compared to the amount of damage players take in M+. I feel like my focus might be better spent on using other spells to save a player.
I do love the spell, but am honestly torn on it. Generally my output window, especially with VE, is more than enough. Life also applies Atonement and does save people's lives, but if it hits as a non-crit it can be underwhelming.
Excellent video! If I may offer a suggestion, add in an addon or weakaura that shows gcd history. It would help with reviews and for viewers just to see what you are pressing in the current situation.

nice video! I was the mage in the group and I really enjoyed your commentary of the key.
Hellll yeahhhhz! Thanks for watching!
A mists video is exactly what I’ve been looking for, thanks!

@@JustDiscipline Oh I definitely am. Been playing my disc on the side the last few weeks.
I mist this video, glad I found it now.

Always Radiance during the Rift! I try to also get my 3x Blasts out before my Radiance too for more coverage. :D

What is the blue-ish proc that pops up? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before, only the harsh discipline and instant cast flash of light
Yes, it's for HD! My design was trying to keep it look native. Love how it looks!
@@JustDiscipline oh, so is the purple proc something else, or are they both for harsh discipline? And is there a way to get the blue proc you have?

I have a new solution for you coming up that's way better!
is it a WA that shows the atonement on the healing bars you have ?
Nope, just my GRID2! I have all my profiles shared for members of the channel or students of mine through metafy
Which weakaura shows the mob thresholds on their health bar?
Thanks to the author for adding this in per my request. However, under the custom options I disable everything except the tics.

How do you cancel entropic early for the dmg

Dark indulgence has a chance - but the chance is 100%... soooo. xD
But if you already have a proc, it's void-- and the borrowed time is proving to really help me get my torments.
