I played this game into the ground as a kid. One of the few examples of a game I won with no guides or assistance except my twin and I figuring it out.
I'm like the biggest Little Nemo fan ever!!!! I could play the game all day and every night before I go to sleep or maybe never sleep again lol!!! I can watch the movie the same way. Every awesome speed run Joka
6 minutes of BS in the beginning, but stops at the end immediately after the clock stops, without showing the ending cutscene. terrible editing - please consider this comment for next time.
That was incredible!!! This game is so hard. When I was young I get to the 2 segment of the nightmare world, but I had to give the game back. I finish it the last week but I used save states in the last level. Think I had more time to repeat all the last level over and over when I was younger.
Mike M I wish I could give you a 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 thumbs up because I have to agree with you in everyway possible
Dude, that frogskip in the second nightmare level! That's where I got stuck as a kid -- broke down and used my Game Genie just to see what the rest of the game was like. >_< Still love this game to pieces~ Major props for crushing this run, Joka!
I got stuck on dream 2, but eventually solved the gorilla-lizard-then bee section. Then dream 4 I got stuck for a while, and I finally found the secret tunnel hiding the key I was missing, every other dream went fine. Dream 5 took a while, but it’s possible. Then dream 8, the nightmare stages was where this game gave me a real hard time. I remember a penguin boss and a shark boss, and then getting stuck after beating them. I was so close to finishing the game on my own as a kid. Bummer.
Legendary playthrough every cent deserved. What are the differences in the Japanese version? Any gameplay changes? I know it's smoother but I dunno otherwis
most of the hits were intentional as speed boosts or because it simply would take more time to dodge the enemy, and he often knew there was a health powerup coming up on the way anyway. like above commenter said, its a speed run, not a no damage run.
I had no idea i played this as a kid, but when I saw him throwing candy to those critters, memories came flooding back!
This game is a piece of art
💎
True

That dream like music is making me fall asleep . Very nice.
This game had my childhood ^^
same here ahh just seeing and hearing the music brings me back in time to 1990! NES and SuperNES the golden age of gaming.

Great run for one of my favorite NES GAME !
I played this in the daycare I went to when one of the kids brought it. I never knew what it was called and could only vaguely describe it.
8yo me is RAGING at that "secret" required part of that water level- rented this game probably 10 times and NEVER got past that lol
R. Bufford I know! I eventually learned of the level select code on the title screen to skip it and managed to beat it
I'm skimming the AGDQ vods for retro game music recommendations - I think I'm going to have to add "Entire NES Block" to the list
loved this game as a kid but it was really difficult
This game! I don't think I ever made it past the second stage!

Best NES game ever.
I never know you could skip the storytelling part at the beginning of every dream. Cool
I'm sad I don't have my copy anymore😭 Great Run and great game
The dream of games💚👑💎
Where is blueglass? I miss his laugh...🤣
This looks like a really cool game
Hard game. Well done :)
High jump or a low yump
OMG I was hoping someone would do a run of this game
Another one of the NES games I want a hard copy of
Feels weird coming here and knowing what happened to some of these people

My son put this on my snes classic and it is way harder than this guy makes it look.
❤😊
Haha the katakana says Pajama Hero instead of Dream Master
Yumps ;D
This is basically Mario Odyssey
Or kirby, considering it takes place in dreamland and this game is in the kid's dreams.
the character Nemo existed decades before Mario and Kirby. The game is based on a comic from the 1900s.
It's basically Super Mario Odyssey.
Awesome game, dude is garbage getting hit so many times...
