The funny thing is she wasn't even needed in the game if you play through v2.2. Half of the playables didn't do sht in penacony.
I have to wonder why himeko, march, boothil, blackswan, sparkle, sampo, argenti, aventurine, firefly (fake death but sparkle had ways to send us to meet dormancy anyway), and welt were even here 😂😂

It finally happened
The description in boothils trailer is about the lore why he can't swear, he is a cyborg and the person who makde his body put a filter into his language. Also the attractive lady in boothils trailer is a character that will soon come to the game, her name is Jade
Robin is legitimately a good person. I might even go so far as to say that shes one of the best people we meet on our journey. Shes a galactic superstar and yet every ounce of sweetness she has is entirely real and not a mask. Whats more, she has a spine of fucking titanium and is perfectly willing to put her life on the line in order to help people.
I think that aside from child characters Robin is the purest one of them all - she's exactly what she seems to be, without any hidden agendas, motives or gray morals
@@tite93 she acts a bit like a naive person with her overly-liberal for a cruel universe views but that's what makes her great - she's trying to be good knowing that it's considered stupid by many but also knowing that it's a good thing so it needs to be done even if it's seems impossible out of cruelty of the universe and people. She's too good and struggling from that but she remains good and it's beautiful. I love her pure heart.

Fun fact about Robin’s song from the trailer, whenever she uses her ultimate her songs plays in game until it runs out! Thankfully it doesn’t override boss themes though!
She can sing in the game too using her ultimate skill buffing her teammates with damage boosts and crit boosts.

people have talked about how and why boothill cant swear, so ill do something different and talk about his backstory. none of this is _technically_ spoilers since its in his character story section, which means you need to pull him and read his bio
he's from a planet thats basically the wild west, not that developed compared to the other planets in hsr, but slowly getting there.
two cowboys find boothill abandoned and crying as a child, so they decide to take him in and name him (which is his real name we dont know). one teaches him how to hunt and use a weapon, and the other cowboy teaches him about plants and farming. Boothill grows up with these two cowboys and many other siblings -- who are also orphans they have taken in
while his siblings take on a more honest way of living (implied to be farmers) boothill grows up to be an outlaw. he visits sometimes but mostly wanders around. one day while he is on his journey he find a small girl, crying and abandoned; and just like his dads did he decided to take her in and raise her
he lives his life like this untill one day the IPC (the organization he is hunting in this trailer) make contact with his planet. they see the people on his home world as undeveloped savages. the ipc at first tries to persuade the population to going under ipc rule, so the ipc can extort them and use their natural resources, the people rightfully decide to fight back against it (which boothill is a part of this fight), but as you can guess a bunch of cowboys with guns cant do much against a spacefaring fleet.
The ipc decides to literally bomb the entire planet to the ground and kill all the population which boothill only survives because he was infiltrating one of their ships at the time. he franticly rushes back to his house only to see his daughter, dads and entire family dead. on that day he decides to discard his name and life, aiming only to get revenge from the ipc (which is also why he turns himself into a cyborg ig)
kinda long but i love his story. kinda reminds me of arthur morgan. also, "boothill" is a word used for a cemetery where gunslingers/cowboys are buried
also its canon that he cant read, he texts you in game by using text-to-speech. i think thats so cute lol

In the robin trailer, if you isolate the audio you can actually hear a SOS signal playing in morse code. its neat

There is Hoyo's next game, ZZZ (Zenless Zone Zero) coming out next month sooo so much for infinite trailers lol.
It'll most likely have the same character release schedule as HSR/Genshin - though no idea if they'll stick with 2 or 1 character per patch in the long run.
ZZZ is more action / timing focused combat than Genshin and that'll be the main focus of the game - kind of like Star Rail's main focus is the strategic turn-based combat without too much sidequesting or world-exploring. Though the main quests is still many hours long.
Story length in ZZZ will probably be similar or shorter and so far it has no real exploration other than a minigame mode that guides you through the stages.
11:40 There are more than two EP's for "Robin". The Boss theme you mentioned, i'm not even sure if it actually counts towards the three. I ahven't yet heard it, because I know it'll be part of the End of the Ingame Story, which I haven't yet finished. But one of them was also the one you already reacted to separately ("If I can stop one heart from breaking"). So the last one you missed should be "Hope is the Thing With Feathers"
I would love it if you would react to the Robin Character Album INSIDE. It has three amazing songs, including full versions of songs you've heard in the third part of Sunday's theme and Robins character trailer.

Boothill's just such a great and fun character personality. You will definitely love him if you ever get to play HSR. 😂Robin's trailer is just amazing. And yes she is the same person who sings in the later portion of that boss theme from last week known as Chevy is the singer's name.

In addition to the hot purple haired lady (Jade), there were also two other characters you've seen before in Boothill's trailer. Just before the part with Jade, he also runs past Topaz (the debt collector lady with the pig pet) and Aventurine (the gambler guy) since all three of them are from the same organization. There have been some pretty funny fan art about how they survived that blimp exploding.

Since there are many inhabited planets in Star Rail, and consequently even more languages, the so-called synesthesia beacon was invented - devices that work as a universal two-way translator for speakers and listeners, creating the illusion that everyone is speaking the same language
And someone changed the beacon settings for Boothill, with the result that the beacons now replace all his swear words with "cute expressions," which infuriates him
And Boothill himself is the same Adam Smasher from cyberpunk, except he's not a psychopath or serving a corporation, but otherwise still the same brain in a cybernetic body

The game also features an image of Buthill in maintenance with his body stripped down to his chest

The beautiful lady you saw in the Boothill trailer was Jade! She's a character that will be released in a future update after Firefly. Firefly comes out in about 2 weeks with Jade out in about 5 weeks so get ready for those trailer reactions

It became a bit of a meme the idea of Robin and Boothill interacting. The general consensus is that Boothill would corrupt Robin and Robin's brother, Sunday, would not be pleased.
Because of Robin and Boothill's back to back release it turned into a Star Rail version of Barbenheimer. The memes were glorious.
In terms of the characters Robin is a rather powerful support character who has gone through a lot. You're right that she's a ray of sunshine but she has a will of steel and will do what she believes is right no matter what.
Boothill we know less about but he's a cyborg bounty hunter that has a grudge against the IPC (think dystopian mega corporation). He's very chaotic but has a strangely high emotional intelligence and a strong moral code (that makes sense to himself at least). He's a single target DPS and one of the funnest characters to play at the moment (at least for me).
Not exactly hoyo related, but wuthering waves has some good stuff and is on the same level as genshin in terms of gameplay. I'd love to see you check their stuff out from time to time like you do with hsr and genshin. The resonator showcases and other trailers so far like the "saving light" cinematic have been amazing.

I don't know if you are gonna play hsr, but the next character coming up is a major spoiler to the penacony story. So recommend not reacting until you play till the 2.1 story quest.
I don't think luke will be able to catch up before firefly's release even if he starts now. Also it depends on what the community votes for so i don't think he will be playing it anytime soon.
