Dust clears. Like Insanity barely has any feats. This because Zero’s (OG creator) didn’t make a depth story about Insanity, it more felt like a concept rather than a actual story.
The only good thing Insanity has is:
    - Strength
    - Infinite stamina
    - DT (can just reset at best)
    Downside:
    - Speed. It’s unknown how fast he is. So, currently speed is unknown.
    - IQ/BIQ. He literally has little to no thoughts. If he hears anything he’ll just immediately attack it without any thinking.
    - Durability. Dude is extremely weak. He is described to be one shot.
    - Doesn’t uses Gaster Blaster. He just won’t use them at all. He finds them boring.
So, from what I can gather from Ask-DustTale, Dust is much stronger than Classic in every category. Which is speed, strength, IQ/BIQ, and durability.
Although, speed and strength are a bit questionable, but I do think Dust would win in terms in luck. Simply because Insanity hasn’t shown any speed feats, and it also doesn’t help that he’s extremely weak in terms durability. Yes, Insanity has infinite stamina but ONE good hit from Dust, and Insanity is good as dead.

Insanity is faster than normal sans, to what extent cannot be said because there needs to be a "feat" physically or something.
Insanity's durability would also be theoretically high, with his maximum HP being in the higher end of the several hundreds. He's only a 1-shot because of how much damage he's already taken.
He does use blasters, but only out of necessity. It's not like he doesn't use them at all, that's blatant flanderisation.

      @@__UTF__ huh, I wasn’t expecting you.
Anyways, I’m a little confused with Insanity’s gaster blaster. I couldn’t find any info of him using them for emergencies. Was it on a replied comment? Did he gave you a draft? Because I had to re-listen to Insanity’s story, and it’s nowhere stated that he’ll use them for emergencies. It would be nice to have a bit more info about Zero’s Insanity.
You’d be correct that Insanity would have high durability/HP, but the guy didn’t bother to heal himself. Since apparently, Insanity was to busy stalking the human before meeting him in the judgement halls.
Speed is still a bit questionable since we’re not given context as to how long did he took to kill every monster. Sure, it does say he’s faster but like how fast? Is he 1% faster than the original? Is he Minecrafter speedrunner? Context would be nice.

@@IDK-qq7ct Ive asked Zero about his sights on insanity before he gave me ownership. He has envisioned insanity using blasters before, i got this through DMs on Discord.
Insanity hasn’t healed himself due to several reasons, one being that he doesn’t feel hunger and another being that he cannot save when the human falls down. He would definitely be able to save against murder though.
Speed itself is complicated, but i’d say he’s way faster than classic. He can easily outrun Frisk, even when they’re sprinting.

love the video, well made and finally started putting some slight respect on insanity!sans, HOWEVER
    - insanity in no way gets battle iq unless it's in context of a physical (hand to hand) fight, which would be a whole different point, murder has much more effective tactics and strategies, even when he chooses to go berserk he plans it.
    - insanity having durability would be correct, however it is heavily implied murder has fought people like undyne (undying is outright confirmed) and asgore and take beatings at low lv. however insanity would get endurance, since he can take more of a beating and continue fighting.
    - some things you didn't mention as well, murder has stuff like chemicals (that could possibly make insanity's body tired without him being such, confusing him and giving opportunity) and items (such as legendary hero and sea tea, which would buff him), and, unlike insanity, still has kr as a judge, any hit to insanity WILL HURT.
I do think murder wins both cases, however if insanity jumps him it's more of 70% 30%, insanity has the chance if he plays his cards right, but like... yeah

not really sure but you seem to be referencing the novel version if im correct, a version where he was able to speedblitz undying. putting HIM against insanity would be like hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby, also for battle IQ. its in a way where due to murders thinking logical factor, he would likely not land much hits since insanity is unpredictable, also murder likely only killed every monster once. while insanity did it countless of times, not to forget EVEN if he got tired it wouldnt affect him as its confirmed papyrus's skull is a key factor at having him awake due to constant crying and tearing.

My interpretation of how murder came out on top is that in phase 3, insanity becomes so insane and aggresive to the point where he makes dumb decisions that are easily punishable/very readible. I think the only realistic way dust won is that he realized this fact, and utilized it to his advantage.

Here's my take on this match up
    Atk
    Dust's (unknown)
    Insanity: 99
    Def
    Dust's (unknown)
    Insanity: 99
    Hp
    Dust's: (unknown)
insanity: 1/??? (could be 100 in the low end or 999 at the high end)
    Iq
Dust is just as smart as normal sans
Insanity is confirmed to be very dumb lol
    Biq
Dust can be very strategic but also relentless in battle, adapting to opponents, calculating plans but he is quite impulsive as well but when he's nearly dead, he retreats so he can recover and attack
    insanity's attacks are mostly random
Edit: it seems i didn't give insanity enough credit since he has some type of primal instinct that improves his fighting skills dramatically
    Magic
Dust uses his magic really well since he changes his attacks every time the human comes back and take inspiration from other monsters attack patterns as well
    Insanity i
    Stamina
Dust could fight for a long, long, long time but he can still get tired eventually
    Insanity has infinite stamina
    Hax
Dust can remember resets, true resets and even when the world is erased
Insanity can resist death but he would revive with only 1 hp, can come back from death with the save point if he's the most Determined one in the underground (depends on the setting) also he can use the save point to heal but doesn't since he lacks the brain to realise he can do that
    accomplishments:
Both killed everyone in the underground though dust has done multiple ways, since in later resets he kills undyne and asgore when they have their guard down
Insanity did kill everyone in the underground though in this timeline it was much earlier, since this was before the 4th human soul fallen down in the underground, even before gaster shattered across space and time
    Overall
Tbh it's hard to say who wins, since murder doesn't have any confirmed stats except he has LV 19/20 but he did beat everyone in the underground so he should be capable of tanking some attacks and deal a lot of damage, as well being much smarter and strategic than insanity but insanity is physically more powerful but he's pretty much one shot since he never healed himself but that stamina is real issue for dust as well tho the biggest problem is the save point, depending on the setting murderer will eventually lose or fight eternally if the human isn't there.

If we are using zero's insanity it would be a very close match
Insanity sans doesnt use blasters because he cant, he uses it because he doesn't want to. He wants the duration of the fight to last longer so he has his fun but i assume when he is in a tough situation, he WILL use them but not spam them. Next, considering insanity sans chooses to use hand-to-hand combat and bones most of the time we can know that Insanity sans gets close to his opponents to use these attacks and which in dust's case should be a bit tricky. Dust is still like sans but just stronger and a bit more strategic when it comes to fightting enemies but when it comes to an unpredictable speed demon like insanity trying to get close to dust, its over for him considering dust isnt really good at close combat.
Though, considering dust still maintains classic sans knowledge, he might be able to start changing his playstyle and play just like insanity sans considering insanity might just keep using the same playstyle over and over again. One hit from dust might be a killing blow because of his arsenal of attacks.
But then again, insanity sans durability might be insane(pun intended) and since he lost most of his emotions and senses, he might also lost the feeling to feel PAIN, thus he might break out of dust's combo and do one for himself.
So I agree, insanity sans takes the W most of the time

Here is the differences between murder and insanity.
Insanity fights like a 5 year old.
Murder sans mastered his abilities to such a insane level more insane than everyone else
Insanity has determination but he rarely takes advantage of it.
Murder doesn't but his soul can be said to be determined as in dusttale why would he just kill everyone to not be more determined than the human? And die? That wouldn't be the case, as murder sans canonically was shown time and time again to show signs that he is something like undyne.
    So yeah.
Not to mention insanity having no damage effect so he would get damaged but won't feel it at the same time so it's a weakness and a strength of insanity. (Insanity probably has the same stats as murder)
    Murder can feel pain.
There is a notable thing in undertale that people never use as a ability for sanses.
It's that sans literally dodges, like he negates your own attacks. To dodge them.
But there is a thing, insanity might be so insane to not even dodge.
Murder sans would dodge but some people think he can't.
    Murder has insanely good stamina.
Insanity has semi-infinite levels of stamina.
    Insanity rarely uses his blasters.
    Murder uses them 24/7.
So who would win in a fight?
It is actually very close when you think about it.
    Murder mastered his abilities.
Insanity lost his mastery in his abilities so he uses them recklessly.
    Insanity has the higher stamina.
Murder has the smarts as a fighter.
As much as you all think, insanity would win.
It all comes down to either if murder becomes another 5 year old.
If he does, it's game over for murder.
If not, then insanity is way more screwed.
Since there is another factor, in the story of dusttale.
Murder can change up his attack patterns to be insanely unpredictable. (He literally can pull off a idutshane on insanity)
