The scene where the "youtuber" makes a fake apology video is a very good representation of what we really see today. None of those streamers/youtubers mean it and they are still clowns.
I’ve watched many people react to this show and yet none of them, that I’ve seen, pointed out how everyone constantly points out/makes fun of Dae-su’s weight. Even if it was just an acknowledgment it still means a lot to me, coming from someone who is not skinny, so thank you!!!
yea i dont like how lots of kdramas (not just this one) constantly point out the weight of ppl who arent skinny or 'well-built' n straight up mock them.. i mean i get that korea is fatphobic but they should have at least considered international audiences when intentionally putting this on netflix
yes, I found it ironic that a series that discusses so much about bullying makes these jokes there are several Korean series that talk about bullying, bullying there is very heavy so I'm surprised that in these series fat characters don't suffer bullying (also because our "heroes" protagonists already do that)or lgbt characters, actually there are almost no lgbt characters, I live in Brazil (if there is any reason for translation that's why, sorry) and this is one of the biggest reasons for bullying here, especially with boys
Yeah I think Jeff is on the right track with his theory. If we think back to the first couple episodes and what the science teacher was talking about while experimenting on his son, the virus is mostly triggered by fear. Which is what most people will be feeling as they get attacked and bit. But as Jeff theorized, if while the virus is spreading inside you, you have a different, stronger will or determination in mind, I think the virus mutates and turns you into zombies that can still somewhat think like humans. So the bullied girl wasn't really feeling fear -- she was strongly determined to get to the phones. The bully, while getting bit to pieces, was screaming in anger, strongly determined to get revenge on Cheong-san.
I absolutely love the library scen!! it's so intense and the choreography is just fire!! 24:47 to clear up, yes in the cliffhanger for ep 1 they make it seem like they zombie is not gonna bite her (which make it seem like she was bitten at the infirmary), but if you watch closely during episode 2 they are still trying to attack her (plus she is not getting ignored the other times they are getting attacked). So in conclusion, she has not gotten bit and the zombies are still trying to bite her, just to avoid confusion in the future. So far the only once that has gotten bit and has the evolved kind of the virus is the science teacher, the bullied girl and Gwi-nam/the bully.
@@ayesha4278 when he gets bitten it looks like he is in control of it (at the police station, I think it was ep. 4). So in my eyes it looks like he has the evolved virus, but I’m not 100% certain so I might be wrong.
I remember the science teacher said that the virus was supposed to turn fear into anger so that his son could fight the bullies off but what happens when you get bitten and you're already angry? Just like what happened to the girl smashing the phones. She was so angry that I think she developed an immunity when bitten. Same as with the bully, he was so angry at Cheong-san while he was being bitten, the virus evolved and now he's also immune. At least that's my theory. The science teacher also was bitten but it seemed he was fine. He was also angry about his son being bullied.
This show is crazy. It wasnt filmed 2 years ago or pre-Covid.The website says casting was April -July 2020.. And filming was suspended August 2020, because of Covid. So Probably finished filming 2021 :-)
the suicidal girl has no fear towards the zombies and she was too focus on breaking all the phones..like that's her only main focus...for the bully,in his last moment he said "I'll kill you" like he's so determine that he kinda forget the zombies are biting him..he wants to kill cheongsan so badd. yeah I think that's the common thing they both have. Will over Fear
Since episode 1 I wanted the bully to get bitten, but now that he's gotten bitten and can control it....uuuummm I think he's more scarier 🧟♀️🧟♂️🧟. This show is blowing my mind🤯
That's what I think when I see how every other reactor is like chatting for him to get bit. You fools! He is stronger than ever before! 😆 this is the first time I've ever been terrified of a bully character and I loved it.

This is why I Love watching you guys' reactions. You pick up on things I missed when I watched it and it makes me think. Injecting my child with rat testosterone isn't one of them but I understand why he did it. Oh, my anxiety level is high as hell watching this, but I will keep watching it...
You guys are the first reaction channel I've seen for this episode that actually understood how the evolved zombies are made: the person's will over their fear! Of the reactors I've seen so far are dead confused or guess maybe it's a luck of genetics, etc. Oh and in the English subs it translated Gwi-nam's last lines as, 'So this means... I'm God.' I really like this translation and it helps sell how much of a bigger threat he is after he's been infected. Can't wait to see your reaction to the next episode!

@@hannahtyler3287 Honestly, for me it wasn't easy to understand even after Mr. Lee said it lol. I think a lot of people expect that what the teacher was saying at the beginning and the solution will be explained at the end. And with the girl being bullied at the same time, I guess a lot are more focused on other things anyways. I think it's mostly pretty obvious only once you know/understand a person doesn't change if their will to survive wins over their fear. Personally I see it because each episode I watch, I watch some reactions after and the comments explain it. For example the girl with the cellphones; I understood she didn't turn because she had a strong will to survive, which was getting to the teacher's office to break the phones. And that's how I understodd Gwinam didn't change because his will to survive to kill Cheongsan and/or get that phone from him was bigger than his fear. 27:40 the guy on the left explained it. If there's a strong will and have something they need to accomplish, they won't turn. The bully wants to kill Cheong san, that's why he's able to function as a human despite being bitten. Same goes for the other girl. Her goal is to destroy the phones.
I love y’all reactions so much I wish they were longer. Also the way I understood it, based on how the professor explained his experiment : the more afraid you become, stronger is the virus whereas when your fear turns into rage like Gwinam (bully) and the girl, your cells overpower the virus and so the host is still in control of his mind. Remember they both said that they’ll kill someone while they were being bitten.
I'm almost at the same pace of watching as you guys. Immediately after I finish an episode I come here to relive it again. Doubles the fun. Keep on rocking!!
I feel that one thing in common with the one’s got bitten but survive is they have a goal to reach that’s why the zombie mind didn’t went into their brain right in their mind they have a task to finish. Like the girl who smash the phone, she wanted to get rid of the phones so her video will not upload online while the bully Gwi- nan’s goal is to get revenge to Cheong-San
yep u can def see now that the virus is evolving n specifically some ppl r immune to the full effect. they call them a 'hombie' which is just someone half human half zombie. i think its abt how much mental willpower/endurance u have like u said. makes sense w the girl who was mercilessly bullied n science teacher who had enough patience n motivation to help his own bullied son ((thru extreme measures when the system failed them))
I tried watching other reactions for this show but none really interested me, however after coming across your channel and reactions I have thoroughly enjoyed them and I’m definitely going to subscribe!
They made the virus look realistic. The virus is evolving and that's what happen to Gwinam And Eunji. It's good that they consider it coz we know now that virus do evolve. And honestly, it would be a bit boring if it's just about zombies. Another breed of zombie is born and that explains the virus' evolving.
Idk but I think it's still kinda logical that they're not picking up the arrows, 'coz the arrows already have zombie blood and even if they wash it away there may be something that would be left that can still trigger an infection if she gets cut by it or if it touches an open would or smtg.
I love these reactions! I've just finished watching the whole series myself, but it feels like I'm rewatching it with you guys! Oh, and the triggers y'all talking about probably is fear, panic, anger or rage.. but i guess you gotta rise up above the emotions for a specific goal - like Gwi-nam and his revenge, and Eun-ji with her goal to destroy evidence of her shame. so... i kind of have a recommendation... but it may be too early for it.. its a kdrama on netflix and its called " bulgasal: immortal souls" its about The story of a man-turned-immortal, Bulgasal, who wants revenge from a woman with a mysterious past and present, who he deems responsible for his family"s death and wants revenge but unveils a new path. i feel like you guys will love it!!
Many people say that that's why the two women and a man became half human and half zombie because of fear, not because they were afraid of being bitten, I mean, they were afraid, but it doesn't seem like that is no longer their concern.
I always love your reactions, all the references and jokes are hilarious and always make me laugh!! You are definitely one of my favourite reactors, I cant wait for the upcoming reactions💪
the reason why the episodes seem so much longer than they actually are is because they did a lot of “one takes” so no cuts in between scenes which the director purposely did.
They filmed the entire series from August 2020 til September 2021. There are times that they stopped filming in between months coz of the covid surge in Korea

Looking forward to seeing your reactions again tomorrow :)
I already watched this two times with different persons and I’m still watching your reaction bc this show is still interesting tbh:3
You guys are just flying through these episodes 😂😂
I love your shirt in Squid game!!
Many people say that that's why the two women and a man became half human and half zombie because of fear, not because they were afraid of being bitten, I mean, they were afraid, but it doesn't seem like that is no longer their concern.
great reactions guys! I enjoyed the discussions and you can tell that they understand what they are watching unlike the other reactors.
I loved this reaction and episode y’all because it’s crazy I tell y’all 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍
That actress for Ji-min should've been the lead fmc. That cry... bruh, I feel like even the actors cried after hearing that
Awesome reaction. I watched all the series, and I liked the first, second, fifth, 10th, 11th, and 12th the best
I love your reaction guys hahaha I can feel your stress hhahaa

This series really showed the intense situation coherent to 2014 Sewol Ferry Tragedy🎗
Patiently wait for ep.6 reaction.....
the reason why the episodes seem so much longer than they actually are is because they did a lot of “one takes” so no cuts in between scenes which the director purposely did.
They filmed the entire series from August 2020 til September 2021. There are times that they stopped filming in between months coz of the covid surge in Korea
Somehow, this Series doesn't even make me flinch. Lol. I eat whenever Im binge watching this. Kingdom is still the best for me (I think Sageuk Kseries is my thing) This is my #3 top 🙆♀️
"i slipped and i fell" and "get this baby some fried chicken" lmaoooo
Your group reaction is the best. You guys are hilarious, and quick witted.

I am genuinely impressed by the Rush Hour references in your reaction videos🤣 I can't
I always like before even see the video :D But I know that your reactions gonna be freaking good.
COVID-19 started over 2 years ago, ya'll. LOL Wild when you think about it about so your reaction (shock) is valid.
So good guys keep’em coming! I binge watched it all last week while recovering from Covid so your reactions be cracking me up! Great job 🙏🏾❤️
