The blocky sounding text to speech just adds amazingly to the atmosphere!
They used many lines from the original game like when GLaDOS says "That has got to be the dumbest thing woah-woah-woah" is from the original game when Chell destroys the morality module in portal 1
If I had the skill... I would actually make a portal 2 recreation of this mod tbh.
Especially since a certain Text To Speech, self learning AI program has a GLaDOS voice setting.
It learns, and learns.
I'd love that, it could also work with some of portal 2s new story additions and/or retcons.

With portal stories: Mel becoming essentially the portal prelude for Portal 2.
Theres a bit of evidence suggesting that Caroline never agreed to this. For example when cave Johnson says "now she'll argue, she'll say she won't want to, she's modest like that, but you make her". There's also a deleted line where Caroline begs cave to not put her into the computer

I mean, you're not wrong, because Portal is built off of Half-Life 2, as the developers of Portal were a small team and had limited art capabilities, so they decided to reuse Half-Life 2 art assets (including other HL2 assets, not just the art for HL2). That's why you see manhacks when Mike tells you to go get the morality core, because Portal reuses HL2 assets.

Lill Jeffy The game gives you multiple chances to get touched, you can see I die a couple minutes in when hit by the beam
@@Pendleton115 YUP this mod came out before portal 2, so these lasers were much more weaker.
they plugged glados in in 1990 something
The body was create in 1985 and activited it in 1996 (I have the collector guide book)
