Chest MRI Basics

Grasping MRI's grayscale representations and diverse sequences poses challenges compared to the more intuitive grayscale-based interpretation in CT scans. Protocoling for MRI involves selecting sequences tailored to specific organs, considering imaging volume, resolution, duration, and the need for contrast. Specific sequences serve distinct purposes. Overall, MRI offers multiple ways to view tissues, akin to experiencing the world with multiple senses, but its complexity requires a nuanced understanding for effective usage.

These help a lot as a resident trying to understand protocoling. I do ask, please include more examples when discussing specific sequences, particularly given the differences with naming conventions.
