    Let's remind ourselves the pass rate was lowered to 30% and yet they still cannot pass ? Who is going to create jobs for the houtkoppe ?? They certainly cannot

    We really don't have the disposable income to keep our children at these expensive school. We just cannot afford to keep them in the public school system

    Could the dbe please look at allocating stationery to public schools. It's a huge struggle for already struggling parents and kids are skipping school because they don't have the necessary items

      @@ndagebs6092 parents have to supply books, writing equipment and even the copy paper. Then on the other hand I knew a facilitator at a seta who told us they supply notepads to the students. These notepads costed R1000 each. That is how money was wasted. Basic education should be prioritised

      ⁠@@galiematoorabally477 Parents choose to have children. The department should supply textbooks, but parents should take responsibility for their own children. They get money from the government for their child and then pay no school fees. At some point, parents need to take responsibility for their own children too.
