EE Torrid Apex Jacket 4000+ Mile Review

Hey Guys, This is the overall review of The Enlightened Equipment Torrid Apex Jacket. I carried The Torrid on my 4000 Mile Coast To Coast Bicycle Tour. This Jacket was half the weight and twice as warm as The Patagonia Micro fleece I usually carry. I can't speak highly of this jacket. For the weight and how warm it is, The Torrid is well worth the $175. The Torrid Apex will be with me on many adventures to come. Stay Tuned everybody.

These are one of the best mid-layers available. USA made to I believe. The Visp rain jacket is made to go over this jacket. Perfect setup.

Hey, I picked a medium to be an under layer, really. Im 5'10''. Average build. Plenty of room in a medium, but I always wear large.

@@TravelingThru222 Lol. Hope you had a Merry Christmas. I spent my weekend on a local trail hike and a bike ride. Guys like you and "Happy Down The Trail" are a great inspiration to me. I may never be able to do a cross continental bike tour or thru-hike the AT, but I can do local bike tours and section hikes. I'm already planning my upcoming New Year hiking and biking adventures.
