Fair play to bringing out a video after the Leeds game, could have been easy (like Benjamin Bloom did) to not bother.
Very well done to Ipswich for bouncing back against the best side in the championship, after a bad result against Leeds. I genuinely can't see Leeds being consistent enough to catch either of the top 2 and that can include Southampton to a top 3 now. On our day we are unplayable, but those days offset by some horrible performances and dropping points against teams like Sheff w, Rotherham, Preston.

Leicester are stacked with premiership quality players especially Wout Faes who was outstanding and town matched them.

In my opinion if Ipswich want to get automatic promotion they need to sign a striker in January. Hirst, Ladapo and Jackson just aren't going to score enough goals over the course of a season. The last 3 games have shown that Ipswich lack a predator up front, George Hirst has scored 6 league goals in 23 games which isn't a great return for an out and out forward in a team that creates lots of chances, he has been outscored by Broadhead and Chaplin. The missed chances against Norwich cost Ipswich 2 valuable points. Most of Ipswich's goals seem to come from midfield, and teams like Leeds and Southampton are not going to go away. Ipswich played ever so well against Leicester, but they lacked the killer instinct once they got to the edge of the Leicester box. This division will be very unforgiving in the 2nd half of the season when they are playing against teams in the top 6
Whilst I don't disagree that Hirst hasn't scored enough, scoring isn't our problem overall as our attacking midfield strategy gets goals. As much as I love Woolfie (one of our own) and Cam I think the opposite.....a solid centre back to stop leaking unnecessary goals. Maybe Axel will grow into that but a sturdy centre back I would advocate for
@nickcytacki2178 I look at Ipswich's midfield and wingers and I see quality all over the place and quality on the bench. When I look at the out and our forwards I see Hirst, Jackson and Ladapo, I wouldn't call any of those 3 top draw. The quality up front doesn't match the quality in midfield. If the midfield suddenly hit a dry spot in terms of goals that's where you need a top striker
@Scott1433 I agree Hirst as the lone striker hasn't produced enough as an individual front man but he's well supported by Chaplin, Broadhead, Burns to ensure we score goals from all said. I'm adamant our main issue is as has been for many years conceding unnecessary and easy goals and leaky at the back. It's fantastic football to watch us try and out score the opposition which we do well but if only we could sure up at the back......that's my stance anyway

I think I’m the only one who considers leicester slightly overrated, seems like they can’t really get results / play well against the better teams in the league. They thumped Southampton 4-1 at st Mary’s yes but that’s when saints were in terrible form

@@Ntfc_claretwhitearmy to be fair they were better in the first half and did get robbed of a pen (arguably two) but they should’ve put the game to bed in the second half instead of just try and fight ipswich off for a narrow win which cost them in the final minutes.
