    hi sir.. how you make the weight plates?

  • @squirts1
    @squirts1 2 года назад +2

    Question is, what did it cost in materials? I suspect the end result is pretty similar in cost to a commercially available mass produced option. I'm not hating on it... Just looking at cost effectiveness.

    • @MrMccccccc

      Total cost in materials is 3000zł Abaut 700 $

    Witam, mógłby Pan podzielić się informacją gdzie można zdobyć takie obciążenia. Sam mam w planie wykonanie podobnej bramy i nie mam bladego pojęcia skąd wziąć obciążenia bądź komu zlecić ich wykonanie.

    • @MrMccccccc
      @MrMccccccc  2 года назад

      Po prostu kupiłem dwie maszyny . W tym wypadku Olymp. Nikt w Polsce nie produkuje takich stosów. Zlecać komuś ich wykonanie jest ryzykowne bo raczej nie będą chodziły dobrze. Najlepiej szukać tanich albo uszkodzonych maszyn ze stosami albo samych stosów na OLX .

      Możesz jeszcze napisać do firmy Hes oni mają gotowe stosy ale na pewno nie będą tanie.

      You can use your barbell weight plates as a stack too. It will just require a right size of pipe to be welded for plates to hang and thats it.

    Всё круто сделано, но, насколько я вижу, груз прикреплён к подвижному блоку, а значит максимальное отягощение составляет 1/2 от веса груза, т.е. 40 кг, при массе груза 80 кг. Или так и задумывалось?
    This is cool and well made, but as far as I can see, the load is attached to the movable block, which means that the maximum burden is 1/2 of the weight of the load, i.e. 40 kg, with a load weight of 80 kg. Or was it meant to be?

    • @MrMccccccc
      @MrMccccccc  2 года назад +1

      Why is 50% of the load taking away? Where does this calculation come from? The number of wheels dissipates the weight of the load, but it is definitely not 50%. The blocks are movable because you can do more exercises this way and that was the idea.

      @@MrMccccccc It's correct, since you use a loose pulley above the weight stack, it splits the useable weight by 50%.
      This is the issue I'm having, when building my own station for multi use.
      Since I want to do e.g. lat pulldown with up to 90 kg at least, I would need a weight stack of 180 kg. This would result in a stack height of at least 140cm.
      Having a total room height of 220cm, I would get a moveable distance of 80 cm. This translates to a rope distance of 160cm. Maybe enough for most exercises, but could be close... Now connecting the moveable pulleys from both weight towers is not an option, as they are too far away from each other.
      I guess the only option is to use two double pulleys/ropes per weight tower.
      Then I could connect the handle to both ropes and get a 1:1 transmission.

      @@iwannabeyourdog90 So you think the roller on top of the stack divides the perceived weight in half and for an 80kg stack it is 40kg?
