Loooooove this red beetle box jet robot. The lil missiles are the only thing I don’t really like about it… they were a pain in the butt (and my thumb) to plug in where they store under the head. Otherwise though, it’s great, especially as my first experience of these boxy-bots.
I believe that is just a horn, not a proboscis. To my knowledge they don't use the horn to eat with, more to fight off rivals for territory and mating. I think.
Yeah I'd really like to get this guy because Kabuto reference. But, is the gold plastic safe? Slightly concerning about it, but I'll display it as the main beetle mode though.
The moment I saw a beetle one from 52Toys, I knew I had to pre-order it. I already have a few of their other figures, and I can never get enough good transforming beetles, especially scarabs and rhinoceros beetles.

Kamen Rider Kabuto really did have some great designs. As much as I didn’t enjoy the actual show it’s self it’s designs were super cool.
