    Now the intresting thing is what if the biker moved relatively slowly than the rain.
    I know its a hypothetical situation but still an interesting one.

    Vr=5,Vb=-12 how could it be the same as under root of 12²+5²= please I don't understand; help me if any!

      Since the velocities are not parallel to each other, we can't just add the numbers.
      So it won't be 5-(-12).
      The general way to add vectors is by connecting them head to tail, and forming two sides of a triangle. Then the length of the third side represents the answer.
