What’s the The Final Girls movie about ?
Starring 30 years earlier in the famous low-budget horror film "Camp Bloodbath", Amanda Cartwright (Malin Akerman from Watchmen) dies in a car accident, leaving her teenage daughter Max (Taissa Farmiga from Higher Ground) alone. Three years passed and Max, now a student, agreed to attend a tribute screening of "Camp Bloodbath", now a cult film, organized by a fellow student. As the film passes in front of a few hundred enthusiastic students, an accident occurs and the cinema catches fire. It is then that Max and his relatives are inexplicably projected into the heart of the horror film.

It's like when a woman gives up her past life, gives up her personal hopes and dreams to take care of her baby and build a home and become a mother. That's the metaphor of this scene.

i dont get it. why did this scene "get people" ?? whats so special about it? i'm asking, not being an ass lol and no i havent watched the movie.
The movie is kind of about and leasing to this moment. The girl was sucked into this movie that her mother was in in the 80s after she died irl and this girl spent the movie trying to protect her mother’s character from dying but now she has to let go so she can survive. She has to be the final girl herself.
