Something happy that happened this season was having a white xmas - I went on many snow walks with my dog, the streets and forest area near my house were so quiet, peaceful and magical. Seeing snow made me feel like a kid again. Together with spending time w family and eating good food, this day really helped me recover from the difficult past couple of months of going to uni and working.
This whole week has been so magical, spending time with my family after being gone for college is such a blessing and to me joy comes not from what’s under the tree but from those around it!! I love this video so much, watching you grow is such a fun adventure
My happiest moment from this holiday season was probably cooking a Christmas dinner with my flat mates and all exchanging gifts, we’d made so much food and the kitchen was fully decorated. happy holidays! one thing i did that made me happy is that i got to see my extended family, some of them for the first time in 6 years. this is probably the last time we’re all going to be together before some of us go to college. my family lives very far away from the rest so it was nice to celebrate christmas with them for once instead of watching them celebrate over facetime while we’re at home.

This holiday season, i got to spend some quality time with my family. Where we bonded over the smallest things that brought warmth to my heart as we did have our rough ups and downs throughout the year. Reconnecting and making memories was the absolute best in which I will cherish.
I also worked every single weekend at a small cafe to save up money which allowed me to give back a little to my family and buy them some gifts knowing i used my time and earned it myself.
Something that happened me this holiday is I spent so much time with my family, especially bonding with my sister- she gave our entire family just in time for the holidays! We’ve all been isolating together and it’s been so fun to play table tennis and watch movies together! Happy holidays!

Something that made me happy this holiday season is spending time with family. Me and my cousins made my nanny this huge book of pictures and notes and she loved it so much.
I really like this holiday because my aunt from uk came to see me and just spending time with my grandma I love her so much. My niece also came and we ate and talked till it was really late. It was also so cold outside so we where cozy in out living room. It was so fun.
Holidays for me in the past have not been the most special. But this one was incredible! It was the first year I have been in a relationship over the holidays, and it was so so amazing to make new memories with someone I love and include their family. It didn't really feel like Christmas to me but it was still so so special to be around people I care about so much:)

something wonderful that happened this christmas was meeting a new friend. she's from South-Africa and i've only known her for a month, but we connected instantly and I'm sure that even when she goes back to her home on the other side of the world, we'll stay friends. she (and of course all my other friends and family) truly is a christmas miracle.

My kids went mudding on Christmas. Well of course they got stuck 🙄. For hours they tried to get out with out luck. The kind spirit of my small community came together on Christmas and sacrificed their family time to help get his vehicle out of the mud. I will forever be grateful for the kindness of strangers.
Being at my home with my family and the mosttt thing that I loved is the weather it’s veryy cozy not too cold and my hot chocolate uhh I live for this moment!! Thank god🙏🏼

one of the sweetest happiest things that happened this holiday season was when my family went and got our christmas tree out in the woods like we always do (which is lovely in itself) but we found the cutest ol dog lost and alone and drove him to find his family again and they were so happy to see him and he was so happy to see them🥺 also i just love spending time with friends and family and trying all the holiday drinks at starbucks of course:)!! love you Ava, you truly make my every week brighter and i feel like we’re best friends💗💗

However, my aunt surprised me with plane tickets to LA. and now I spending my Christmas with her. it has been so fun and I am so grateful for that to her.
Even though I’m spending my holidays in quarantine with my boyfriend, something nice that happened was that he cooked a nice Christmas dinner for the both of us even if we had to eat it on opposite sides of the house. I also got to to see the sunset today while on a walk :)

This holiday was special because I was able to work enough hours to give both my mom and grandma gifts this year. I wanted to get them gifts because of all the things they did for me. my aunt announced that we'll be having a new addition to the family next august!! first holiday without my granddad, but his presence was felt. i also spent some time with my girlfriend's family on christmas eve - we played games and laughed and i really felt like part of the family.
this year i was blessed enough to be able to give at least one gift to everyone in my family, which i have never been able to do. that alone made my holiday the best one yet:)

Something really special that happened this season was a twist on a family tradition. Sorry this takes some backstory. Basically at the end of our Christmas at our grandparents we do something called “the closet gift” it is given to one person each year and it’s something extra special. For example in years past it has been a big sled, trip, snowblowers, old memorable things being passed down the family, etc. It is always something meaningful, needed and something the person wouldn’t get for themselves. Ever since I was little this was the best part of Christmas. They even have been doing it before we were born! This year because it has been so hard on my grandparents the grandkids decided to secretly take over and do a closet gift for them. We surprised them with a sentimental photo album that we all made (even collaboration from our cousins in Poland) and a new oven. They just were so shocked and it’s the best this tradition has ever been. I love my grandparents so much and your relationship with yours reminds me a lot of how I am. Ava you’re so inspiring and keep doing what you do. ❤️
Something amazing that happened during the holiday season is that my family and I were able to make care packages for the homeless and deliver them on Christmas Day. It was something I had been wanting to do for a very long time because they need love too, especially during the holiday season. Merry Christmas Ava!!!

My Happiest thing that happened this holiday was that I was personally able to get everyone in my family and my bf's family gifts. They may have been small but I was just glad I could give to people I care about.
Something happy that happened this holiday season was that I baked so many goodies for my family to show them how much I love them. I made russian fudge, ginger crunch, chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread people, brownies, and christmas sweater cookies.
Something happy that happened this season was having most of my family here and that everyone is perfectly healthy - I am also grateful for u ava and your thoughtfulness to give back. A day late but, merry christmas and happy new year!

My kids went mudding on Christmas. Well of course they got stuck 🙄. For hours they tried to get out with out luck. The kind spirit of my small community came together on Christmas and sacrificed their family time to help get his vehicle out of the mud. I will forever be grateful for the kindness of strangers.

Something happy that happened to me this holiday season was that my dad got to be with us on Christmas eve which usually doesn't happen because he is usually out plowing the snow on the roads for his job! It was nice to have him around :)
something that made me happy this holiday season was i felt it was the first time since a child i felt festive and happy it was the holidays! i think i’ve healed a lot in the past few years and let go of things and beliefs that no longer served me 🥺 💖i am so grateful for everything.
I had one of the worst Christmases this year because half of my family was sick so we couldn't have met so i spent it only with mom and two grannies😔 The happiest moment though was when my 94 year old great grandma was talking so much, like she's never talked so much but the Christmas spirit got into her and even tho she was talking nonsense it was so much fun watching her be joyful and so talkative 🥰🥰 love you Ava ❤️ natnotrat
one of the sweetest happiest things that happened this holiday season was when my family went and got our christmas tree out in the woods like we always do (which is lovely in itself) but we found the cutest ol dog lost and alone and drove him to find his family again and they were so happy to see him and he was so happy to see them🥺 also i just love spending time with friends and family and trying all the holiday drinks at starbucks of course:)!! love you Ava, you truly make my every week brighter and i feel like we’re best friends💗💗
Something happy that happened this holiday season is that my dog got his very own blanket and has been attached to it ever since. I also got to see family members that I hadn't seen for over a year.❤️

This holiday season i was so grateful to have a beautiful Christmas with my family and friends, after such a hectic year it was so calming to end of the year with my loved ones. The most happiest i have been this year is the holiday season because i am learning to accept and love myself, and i am bringing this love for myself in the following year.
something happy that happened during these holidays is that I can't go back to my home in India, so I was supposed to spend my Christmas alone this year. However, my aunt surprised me with plane tickets to LA. and now I spending my Christmas with her. it has been so fun and I am so grateful for that to her.
Even though I’m spending my holidays in quarantine with my boyfriend, something nice that happened was that he cooked a nice Christmas dinner for the both of us even if we had to eat it on opposite sides of the house. I also got to to see the sunset today while on a walk :)

This holiday was special because I was able to work enough hours to give both my mom and grandma gifts this year. I wanted to get them gifts because of all the things they did for me. It made me happy to have the ability to spoil them for a change after all the love and time they spoil me with. Both of them loved their gifts and it made me so happy to see the smiles on their face. I am leaving for college soon so I wanted to give them the best Christmas possible before I leave for college. Thank you so much for all the positivity you spread Ava. my aunt announced that we'll be having a new addition to the family next august!! first holiday without my granddad, but his presence was felt. i also spent some time with my girlfriend's family on christmas eve - we played games and laughed and i really felt like part of the family.
I'm grateful I was able to fly home and see my family for the holidays :)

Something really special that happened this season was a twist on a family tradition. Sorry this takes some backstory. Basically at the end of our Christmas at our grandparents we do something called “the closet gift” it is given to one person each year and it’s something extra special. For example in years past it has been a big sled, trip, snowblowers, old memorable things being passed down the family, etc. It is always something meaningful, needed and something the person wouldn’t get for themselves. Ever since I was little this was the best part of Christmas. They even have been doing it before we were born! This year because it has been so hard on my grandparents the grandkids decided to secretly take over and do a closet gift for them. We surprised them with a sentimental photo album that we all made (even collaboration from our cousins in Poland) and a new oven. They just were so shocked and it’s the best this tradition has ever been. I love my grandparents so much and your relationship with yours reminds me a lot of how I am. Ava you’re so inspiring and keep doing what you do. ❤️

Something amazing that happened during the holiday season is that my family and I were able to make care packages for the homeless and deliver them on Christmas Day. It was something I had been wanting to do for a very long time because they need love too, especially during the holiday season. Merry Christmas Ava!!!

Well I don’t really celebrate or anything but spending time with family and friends I couldn’t see during quarantine has been so amazing. It really shows how much we take advantage of the time we spend with them. I really do have such more appreciation and feel more joyous when I get to spend time with them! My Christmas was the first I’d spent away from my family because I couldn’t get back to see them, but other than some tears on FaceTime, my favourite part was being around friends, having drinks, and generally learning to accept that I couldn’t change the situation
