OPTIMIZING Air Flow! | COMMON ISSUE With The W204 Mercedes-Benz Chassis

- In today's video, we're tackling a common issue faced by many W204 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG owners: replacing the engine fan shroud due to aged and deteriorating rubber components.
The engine fan shroud plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal engine temperatures by directing airflow efficiently. Over time, the rubber parts on the shroud can become brittle and cracked, leading to poor performance.

Hi, when it comes to cleaning the engine bay, do you recommend power washing it?
You could, but need to be careful. Can’t be too close with it. I like to use the steamer, I think it turns out a little cleaner

Hey I love watching your videos and they have been a big help to me with taking care of my w204 c63. I have black factory wheels on mine and I have washed them so many times and I can't seem to get them clean. Do you know of any way to safely clean the caked on brake dust and get them shiny again? I've tried a lot of things and I can't seem to get them back to how they are suppose to be.
Thanks for watching! Brake dust deposits can be very difficult to remove from wheels, and often require cleaning multiple times before they clear up. Routine cleaning with an iron remover can help reduce the deposits on the wheel. Overtime, you will notice the wheels will start to clear up.
Acid is another chemical that can help with cleaning brake dust deposits on wheels. Although you need to be much more careful with this chemical because you are at risk of damaging the black paint on the wheel.
@evans-garage Ok I will try that out. Thank you so much!
Do the rubber strips actually make a big difference in cooling or performance ?
Depends on how degraded they are.
@@evans-garage okay, I have no rubber strips at all on mine they are gone
I would get an new one
