Broadmarsh Bus Station Nottingham - Last Day

Sunday 9th July would see the doors close for the final time to buses serving the undercover Broadmarsh Bus Station. FroM Saturday 8th Trent Barton and Kinch Bus ceased to operate from the landmark site, but the final day saw Sunday services provided by Yourbus, National Express and Megabus. While the rdevelopment takes place buses that use the former bus station will serve temporary stops around the area. This video shows the last day and records some of the vehicles active on this historic day.

After I would get off the coach from London and arrive in Nottingham at Broadmarsh station, I always needed to buy a drink, and joked that news stand "first stop" should be named "walk by" as it was £1.50 for a bottle of coke, and round the corner at poundworld, you could get 2 for £1, lol. Still love going to Nottingham, and I never had the hatred for the station a lot of people seemed to, but I will still be interested to see what the new station looks like when it finally opens in 2020.

I went into Nottingham a few weeks ago for the first time in years, I didn't realise they had pulled the bus station down. Any idea when it is planned to reopen?
