So far our knives get blunt just with usage regardless of the chopping board so we regularly sharpen it at home by rubbing it at the edge of the granite countertop or by using a stone, few seconds job and far easier chopping experience :)
Then what kind of chopping board do you suggest is better.? I have used plastic, wooden and glass chopping board in past.. and i want to give metal one a try..
I personally love the cleaning and hygiene aspect of the metal chopping board now, it is really a class apart from any other material in this regard, my next choice would be wood.

Hmm, didn't really notice any kind of sliding... but is definitely less friction than plastic and wood chopping boards

When u chop on metal board does it make noise...as since the knife and board both are metal , the chopping can cause irritating noise...

Is the cereal dispenser airtight? In a humid place the lentils get infected with insects.
Yes this is very true, so far it seems airtight and doing it's job even though Goa is one of the most humid places I've lived in.
