A couple things, AC/DC before 1980, has a completely different sound, because of Bon Scotts voice, and much more of a dirty blues sound mixed with early rock edge, and less of that cookie cutter hard rock sound they ended up having from the Back in Black album, forward. Their first 6 albums are sooo worth checking out. You will be convinced of Angus Youngs talent as a blues guitarist after hearing songs like Night Prowler or Ride On (album versions). You will be blown away!
When Bon Scott was lead AC/DC's sound was more raw, which I liked more than the later songs.
Let There Be Rock is a fun song featuring Bon Scott. I like Big Balls too, but that seems to be a forgotten song as far as reactions go.
Ride On and Highway to Hell are my favorite Bon songs
Brian Johnson deserves much love and respect for continuing the legacy of our beloved Bon Scott, bless you all members of AC/DC for giving us such great music.
Early AC/DC was great. I have never been a fan of heavier rock, but in the Bon days they put out some great songs that also had strong commercial appeal. Eg Jailbreak, TNT, High Voltage, Highway To Hell, Dirty Deeds, Its A Long Way To The Top. Great times. It was sonsad when Bon died.
This is Bon Scott singing. He died in 1980. (Alcohol/drugs) Brian Johnson took over from there.
Quite a big rabbit hole
Just in case you want to know all the Bon Scott albums only.
High Voltage 1975 (Australia only), T.N.T. 1975, High Voltage 1976 (worldwide), Jailbreak EP 1976 (Australia only), Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 1976 (worldwide), Dirty Deeds Done Cheap 1976 (Australian version), Let There Be Rock 1977 (worldwide), 12 Of The Best 1978 (worldwide), Powerage 1978 (worldwide), If You Want Blood You Got It 1978 (worldwide), Highway To Hell 1979 (worldwide), AC/DC 3 Record Set 1980 (worldwide) and Back In Black 1980 (worldwide). 11 albums and 1 EP.
Yes I’m old and have been rocking out to all of them since they came out!!!! The good old days hombre!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 😎🍸
The vocalist/singer in the music video Jailbreak was Bon Scott, AC/DC’s previous singer, he passed away in 1980 because of alcohol. Them AC/DC found a new singer called Brian Johnson, the one you heard today! Different singer
Great request Old School Dad!!! This is some good ole rock 'n' roll
AC/DC released 10 albums and 1 EP before Bon Scott Died in 1980. Brian Johnson took over after that and has been singing for them for 41 years now. Definitely 2 different voices/sounds but still the great sound/formula that is AC/DC!!!!!! I think Bon Scott was the best but I love Brian as well!!!!! So use 1980 when reflecting/listening to their music with who was the lead singer!!!!! You have a lot of catching up hombre!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 🎸🎸🎸🎸😎🍸
This singer was Bon Scott, their first singer. He sadly passed away in 1980 and was replaced by Brian Johnson, the singer you know from today! Thats why the singer is different to you
Wasn't the first but definitely the best.
Oh you should also watch the movie - chopper
You’ll enjoy it.
Ditto! This, the greatest scene in Aussie cinema, no?
ruclips.net/video/G3VnX0hf_yM/видео.html
Never knew Bon wrote this inspired by Chopper.
Chopper did get 16 years but not for murder.
He actually jumped the dock at a Melbourne court with a shotgun put it to the Judge's head taking him hostage demanding his mate Jimmy Loughnin be realesed from prison, of course it didn't work but this really happened.
Also the escape plan was much more brutal
Chopper and Jimmy were in a gang war with the Painters n Dockers in prison , Chopper proposed they take a guard hostage , still the keys, lock all the cells and stab all their enemies to death.
Jimmy understandably thought this was a bit extreme even for Chopper and turned on him stabbing him.
Probably a bit hard to make a song out of that.
BTW i remember i was 6 years old when this was released on Countdown a Aussie top of the pops style show if you will who bankrolled this film clip and the legendary Long way to the top clip.
Before I even watch this, kudos to you - too few react to this! A nose for quality, you've got! ✌️😄
Angus is wearing Big-W PJs - I know - my mum bought me a pair!
Here is a list that you should try (in any order):
-Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon)
-Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian)
-TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian)

Do all the Bon songs with Bon performing.
you forgot "Ride on" and "Go down"... two of the best Bon-Scott-Songs...
Chopper!! Good movie starring Eric Bana. Cut his ears off to get out a prison transfer..good old uncle chop chop..lol
bon was the original guy you see here. he died at 33 brian took over from that point
this is the real acdc bon Scott
Bon Scott is the original I think this video was from 1973ish
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was his last bit
Then Brian Johnson with the cap
Super late but I'm just jumping in to say that the Ghostbusters song DID actually rip off another song but it wasn't this one, it was I Want a New Drug by Huey Lewis and the News.
acca dacca. This is their best song with Bon Scott.
They don’t sound the same at all, every artist ever sounds ”the same” it’s just menas you haven listened enough
Ben is right. Brian Johnson AC/DC may or may not sound the same, Bon Scott AC/DC is actually pretty varied in sound, though Angus always sounds like Angus. Bon sadly passed far too soon in 1979. Great reaction!
Check out Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, it's a classic
Bon Scott died (singer)
Yes he may have been shot in the back but he was free
Bon Scott is the original front man of the band. 🤘
Not the original but the best.
Dave Evans waz the first singer
Mate just seeing your reaction obviously from 2 years ago - but you are a true pommy git 😮
They WERE trendsetters. I was there when they began and I was getting all fired up there for a minute LOL. Thought you were coming for Bon and the 70's man.
When this song came out ACDC were a poor working band living hand to mouth. They had no money for video clips which were a new thing back then. This was made for a few hundred bucks in a local quarry.
Reaction video suggestion : AC/DC - Rock N Roll Singer (1976)
Bon Scott was the original front man who drowned in his own vomit in London
Second singer. Dave Evans was first.
The best singer Bin scott
Nice pick OSD🤘
PyroTechnics was great back in the day but, as a lot of bands experienced, they can accidentally set fire to half their fanbase if used at concerts.
Bon Scott was their first and the best
Nyimak...☕👍🇮🇩
he DID get out .. he dies OUTSIDE :) I dont think you get that its maybe an aussie thing :)
Yes, the Original Singer Bon Scott died
There's gonna be some rockin is my all time bon scott era song. Followed by ride on
damn i like this song so much . bon scott always the original. thanx to great reaction like always and have wonderful weekend. when i start thinking ghost busters song have similarity
Try 'a touch too much'
Bon scott Is the Singer the originale RIP
If you want to here Brian Johnson sing this song check out Jailbreak live at donnington 1991, let there be rock from the donnington is also brilliant
Try same song live at donington to get a modern performance of this classic
Live in 1977 heavier
bon scott the man
Small bit of advice if you are going to react or review someone's work do some homework first other wise you come over as a bit of a goose
@@peterjohn3634 also keep in mind with it being called a 'reaction' channel that doing homework is not reacting,
I'm not a review channel.
Is it all about CGI for you ? It's a music video ffs, not a shite scifi film
It's an observation that tells me roughly how old the video is, jeez stop being so punchy
agreed, Not a music connoisseur that's for sure, quite a shallow reaction.
