- 🌟 In a world where privacy, natural light and views are equally valued, smart glass technology emerges as a game-changer! Join us as we delve into the fascinating realm of smart glass, also known as switchable glass, privacy window film, and PDLC film, to uncover its advantages and limitations.
💡 Smart glass offers instant privacy with the simple press of a button, transitioning from transparent to opaque, enhancing comfort and privacy in living or working environments. With the ability to be applied to existing glass surfaces, including operable windows, walls, and doors, smart glass technology proves to be versatile for modern interiors.
☀️ Furthermore, smart glass blocks over 99% of UV rays, maintains ample natural light, and enhances energy efficiency, reducing both heat gain and loss. Its security features provide added protection against break-ins.
🚫 However, despite its numerous benefits, smart glass does come with some limitations to consider. It can be initially costly, with prices ranging from $85 to $140 per square foot, although smart film presents a more economical option at $25 to $45 per square foot. Professional installation is often required, especially for larger projects, and smart film is not suitable for exterior applications due to potential damage risks.
💡 Additionally, smart glass consumes electricity for operation, which may pose challenges in some areas, and its availability may be limited, requiring careful selection of reputable suppliers.
💼 In conclusion, smart glass technology offers a remarkable upgrade for various spaces, but careful consideration of its pros and cons based on individual needs and budget is essential. For those intrigued by its potential, reaching out to trusted suppliers like Smart Glass Country can ensure expert advice and quality products.

Is this still available in the market (Philippines)
Yes it is available in the Phillipines. We ship worldwide or you may be able to find a local provider.
Nothing to do with the content but this presenter is animated, isn’t he?? It’s quite well done, just some mouth/word mismatches.
Thank you for the feedback!

I don't know if it exists, but I would want a smart glass that's black and not the typical grey/smoke and at it's max setting being total light black out. Another problem I have from almost all video of smart glass I've watch... even when it's turn on, it's not 100% clear, as you can still see a slight greyish tint when side by side with a non smart glass.
Privacy glass is not black out glass, though you can apply smart film to tinted glass or electrochromic glass. I believe the technology you're looking for is electrochromic or SPD glass.
Do you have any vendor in Kolkata, India ?
No we do not.
Hi I heard $25 to $45 per sq foot or sq meter?
Per square foot, not meter. That's the price for smart film and it depends on the project size
Mixing in one clip square foot with square meter... Not so smart. Next note: Those 3-5W per square meter are sometimes even 7W/sqm. Just saying. And the MOST important con was ofcourse missed. It's lifespan is NOT infinite...there is a limited count of "switched on" hours....
Yeah, but 15 - 20 years is not bad and it consumes about 5-6 watts of power per 10 square feet/hour when on (transparent) and 0 Watts when off (opaque). For my use, it will be off (opaque) mostly at night (for further savings/day).
