I think, especially if you’re already very familiar with the song, gives you almost an otherworldly glimpse of listening to yourself listening to this song. This reminds me of my youth. I got sent to bed while my parents had friends over. The music was too loud and the laughter drifting up from downstairs was too loud. How could I sleep when everyone else was having so much fun?

And the sound of footsteps echos until you open the door to the party and people talking and dancing and singing, the music is louder and bass boosted when you open the door. and as you make your way through, as you get closer to the stage the music gets louder and then more distant as you go the the bathroom, wash your hands, then head to the back of the club were someone is crying, but you just sit out there, smoking and puffing till the song ends.
