I really like the clear case because it shows off the iPhone color … new natural titanium! However, I have the same issues with it as you do … buttons are hard to press, pinky finger pain from holding the phone, and the bottom of the phone is completely unprotected.
The official case always seems to get hate, I think it’s the price and also the fact it’s official apple. I’ve always liked it for 3 main reasons… firstly I like the hard build of it (always hated soft cases).. secondly I actually LIKE the cut out at the bottom, and I’ve used an official case on my 13 pro max for 2 years now and never had any issues with unprotection at the bottom. Lastly my 13PM clear case hasn’t yellowed even one little bit after 2 years of having it.
I’ve had mine for months and I’ve dropped my phone a few times and it hits the corners but never have I dropped it on the bottom edge. The open bottoms feels better when swiping up.
I was in the Apple Store the other day and it really dawned on me that instead of $50 for a case I could just get five months of AppleCare and rock my 15 pro naked 🤯
No matter what kind of case you use it’ll always attract dust/lint and looks bad. If you’re careful with your phone go caseless…you will find out soon what you’ve been missing
I find this case very slippery on a table surface that one has to be so careful. Especially with young cats around. I always have to secure with coaster or something sticky. A rubbery material would be better, but well, I went for the look and did not research better.
1:33 that sucks! 50 bucks for that? tf?? i remember when i had the iphone x and i bought that clear case with that space unprotected, my phone fell to the ground and broke exactly in that part. f/u apple
WTF do you people care about the box so much? Put it in a plain recycled cardboard box and stop fetishizing consumer packaging. All it does is create more waste.
Love bottom open cases. The biggest annoyance is the flimsy thin parts at the bottom when they cover the bottom.

I agree, they could just make floating buttons like RhinoShield.

Why does nobody understand that the case is like glass. When u cover up the bottom and try to put the phone inside, it will break.
